Flacco can still do it… if his mobility wasnt so bad he could probably still lead a team to the playoffs, hes just a statue in the pocket though and if he even slightly feels pressure that ball is getting thrown into the stands lol

@Billy SBC too damned good? What are you talking about. Don’t you get crazy. Flacco is a backup for a reason. Zach is not having a short leash. The GM and Coach will either sink or swim with Zach Wilson. The Jets’ future is not Joe Flacco. A few nice spirals in practice is not going to change that.

You’re NOT putting Zach Wilson on the level of Joe Flacco here are you? Look at Flacco’s resume’ sometime… this guy has brought teams to the playoffs MULTIPLE TIMES and won a Superbowl. Won the AFC North TWICE, been to the AFC Championship Game THREE TIMES, and was SUPERBOWL MVP! I like Zach, he has a great guy behind him to pick up some experience from, but Zach Wilson right now isn’t on Joe Flacco’s level at all… that will take time and a whole lot of games to achieve.
@Billy SBC Dude, what are you smoking ? I am not comparing Zach now with Joe Flacco’s career with the Ravens. But like it or not, Zach is the future of the Jets not Joe Flacco. Flacco is not the same QB he was in his prime. If he was , he would be starting with another team. He’s a back up, that’s it. If you think the Jets should go with Flacco, you are nuts

Flacco had a serious neck injury, and that’s what took him out of a starting position for a while. But I can tell you right now, if Zach comes out of a game and Joe Flacco goes in, you will see those defensive backs and linebackers back way up… They know who Joe Flacco is, and if you disrespect his arm and his quick decisionmaking he’s gonna hang 35 or 40 points on you when the gun sounds… It is a luxury beyond belief to have Flacco here, and Zach will probably develop into every bit the QB Flacco is eventually, but right now I’m just happen to have a #2QB that defenses fear.

Flacco has a perfect release. His mechanics are everything you wanna see in an NFL QB.
So true. Although I believe in ZW 100%, I can realistically see Flacco winning 9-10 games with this team if he was the starter even with their brutal schedule. Every time he has had a chance to take the field he has been impressive.
@T.A. Rugg He throws a nice deep ball, if you give him time he can still win games on Sundays, Jets are lucky to have him.
We need Flacco to put the pressure on Zach to get it done, maybe even gain some experience on how to read individual defensive tendencies
