Love that we get to keep DK, but I can’t figure out how they honestly think that these QB’s are going to bring wins… I’m not looking forward to this season unless our defense seriously steps up their game

I love seeing this. DK is a difference maker and the Hawks are a top-notch, quality franchise. With how the team handled KJ’s retirement, JR Sweezy signing for a day to retire as a Hawk, and now extending Metcalf, I buy what Pete and John are selling about the culture and who they are in that building. I know what the schedule looks like for the year and the two future Hall of Famers who are now playing elsewhere, but does any one really get the vibe that this is the type of team that is going to purposely tank and not compete? Hell no, I don’t. Instead, I feel the opposite. I think these guys are up to the challenge in front of them and I think they are going to really surprise a lot of the so-called football experts telling everyone that this is, at best, a six win team. Call me delusional but I’m in and excited to see what this team is going to do this season!

I’m happy DK is staying! I was a bit worried but I’m glad they saw the gem he is and all the talk about not having good QB now is hogwash. He makes every QB better.
