If he don’t have the Arm strength or his body is hurt or whatever then he doesn’t need to be in training camp.

Right! And he played for Oklahoma haha. I will say him being in Cleveland for a few years probably made his body adjust to the cold. Now he has to readjust again 🤣

Idk how people are pressed ab the pick. This is literally his first full practice with a brand new team with a new throwing motion after a big surgery on is arm.
Tru but it’s not his throwing shoulder he injured… I’m not a doctor but idt it should effect anything with his throwing motion
@Lymond Bethea it does bc Baker uses his whole body to throw, he doesn’t just use his arm like some other qbs, he uses the torq from turning his body to release the ball so the injury would still have affected him
@Lymond Bethea if you’ve every watched a quarter back throw a ball you’d know that’s just false. Never in my life have I seen a quarterback throw with just their arm and wrist, it’s a full body motion.
Not to mention he only played with second team
Baker feels like a franchise QB not a back up. We should really consider him long term and if that doesn’t work out Corral is next up.

@younglj01 I mean he was a piece in turning around one of the worst franchises in league history. They built a great team around him sure but being replaced by a QB that’s elite isn’t something to be taken as if he were replaced by someone like Teddy Bridgewater or Marcus Mariota. He’s in a position now that he can truly thrive as the number 1 in Carolina and the team needs someone to hitch their wagon to. If your a panthers fan have some faith in baker it won’t hurt.

@Edward Gaines EXACTLY. Baker should’ve got his surgery and recovered. Keenum was familiar with the system and more than capable of getting some wins. The decision to play cost us a playoff birth and ultimately cost Baker the starting job. It was a poor decision.
