The numbers don’t reflect the true value of his contract, so while on paper he wasn’t paid like a top 10 QB, it don’t mean he wasn’t pulling just as much bank if not more. Good on Kyler for betting on himself, he set the launch pad proper for Lamar to go OFF this season. If the refs can learn to fly right, we’re in for some quality football this fall.

@XxSofaKingDopexX Christian Kirk was good last year but their entire passing offense is predicated on Hopkins drawing multiple defenders away from everyone else to make it easier on kyler. Kyler showed multiple times last year that his decision making in a tight situations can be lacking a lot

But they don’t need any more problems this coming season. Not having Hopkins for the first 6 games hurts them big time. If they can go 2-4 while he is gone, that will be good. Now imagine them being 0-6 with KM not playing and Hopkins out.

Kyler Murray has a career record of 22-24-1 to include his one playoff game. Kyler Murray has a passer rating of 40.9 with 137 yards and 2 interceptions in 1 game in the playoffs in his career. How the hell does he deserve that money? Because he plays on a shitty team? So much for salary caps, that ship has sailed.

Deshaun a guy who hasn’t played in over a year got a large fully guaranteed contract.
Kyler who doesn’t have the accolades that Lamar does and is in a weaker division, and has far superior offensive weapons making his job easier (name one Ravens wr as good as Dhop, or hell even aging Fitzgerald) just got a good contract as well.
And a few more QBs got decent contracts as well.

I’ve been saying it for years franchise him then trade for the very first round picks some organizational will be dumb enough to accept that or something similar but the ravens dont have the balls to that and that situation is going to be even uglier than this one
