I wish this fan base would embrace Mariota instead of calling for the 3rd round draft pick who hasn’t played a down in the NFL. If Mariota can stay healthy and have the team and fan support…he’ll be a Pro Bowl QB.

That is what i want the season to play out all the talk that they having Falcons gonna win 4 games all that.. Lets see when the real season hits in September
Everyone has a hard on for Ridder when you have proven playoff winning qb in MM. He had severe nerve damage in his throwing hand and still played almost the whole year. Realize that Tennessee has not won a playoff game since he left.
It’s also hard to get excited for a QB that got benched for Ryan Tannehill in Tennessee by the same HC and he can’t stay healthy! We STUPIDLY traded away our best chance to win three months ago!!!
Please try and get this thru your head:
1. Matt Ryan wanted to leave. Falcons leadership has said on multiple interviews that they felt it was time and it was fair to let MR pursue his chances with a better team while they build this one up.
2. Mariota (while rings better QB than MR anyways) had nerve damage in his elbow from a defenders helmet in a freak accident. He said several times he lost the feel and had trouble holding on to the ball. Yet he continued to try and play. He went to Vegas to heal and get his mind right after his Head Coach turned on Him. He went thereto be abackup until his injury properly healed.
Marcus is going to get his SECOND chance and he isn’t going to waste it.
That’s because 92.9 promote Ridder who threw a interception at the Benz but they not showing that
You have to understand why MM got benched and AS does. MM had nerve damage in his elbow, they gave him a patch work line way worse than the Falcons current OL, and Vrabel wanted a qb who was vocal which MM isn’t. The Titans have not won a playoff game since MM left the team. Think about that.

I’ve wanted him since he was drafted by New York. Dudes a dawg, was the best pass rusher on the Giants besides Leonard Williams. And he can cover too. Great addition for us. Hope he plays well so we can resign him
I was there and Mariota looks good with his connection with Pitts and recievers. Riddle threw a interception in practice but they are not showing that highlights. He will be ok in the future if he takes notes and learn from the veteran. 92.9 is always promoting Riddle but they work for the station and not from Atlanta so that’s a contributing factor to the low key sabotage.
