Lions never gave up in any game last season.

    BEN DIESEL

I expect us to not get blow out in any games this season and for every single game to be competitive in the 4th quarter. We have an easier schedule, almost all games our on Sunday at 1, so no short weeks. Our defense and offense has vastly improved. This team still has to put it together but if some luck falls our way for once we could definitely get 10 wins with 7 wins minimum and get into the playoffs. We have some big names that need to make this their best season yet and need to prove they can stay healthy for a whole season a la hock, swift and okudah.

Last year this wasn’t goffs team, his confidence was at an all time low, he was moving across the country for the first time and not knowing what to expect in Detroit, he had very little weapons at points throughout last season, him and A Lynn did not see eye to eye and did not have a good relationship.

Now he has a new found confidence, the team believes in him, Goff and Ben Johnson have a great relationship, Ben Johnson will construct our offense to use goffs strengths. He has a healthy top 10 o line, all the weapons he could ever ask for and a strong running game to complement the pass. Time to put it all together.

    Adam B34

Yeah and they still lost 6 games by 10+ points and were -142 in point differential

    MCDC

    @Adam B34 🤡😂

Was kind of waiting for Tim to say, “Even though I’m calling him old, veteran and mentor, he is still huge and ripped and could tear my head off”. LOL He didn’t he just kept calling him old.

    BEN DIESEL

Lol I know he isn’t even that old and the media has been calling him the “old guy” this whole off season lololol 🤣

Our team is just super super young, one of the youngest teams in the league, which is exciting to see these guys get better every year and grow together as a team.

    Dirty Beef Curtains

I was going to say the same thing lol. He’s only 31 and the beginning was like he’s about to roll off into retirement or something 🤣

    Bryan Smith

All the media guys have been pretty bad about their questions all revolving around him being old. It’s the new “Stafford knows Clayton Kershaw” factoid they glom onto

tkorreck

Brock is my guy. I know he wants to go into the podcast/entertainment realm, and I’m here for it. Your classic veteran who loves the game and knows a good system when he sees it. I’ll be following his career after ball.

Tony Blumenschein

I’m excited for him and for our other d-lineman to play in the 4-3 alignment. I don’t like to react and let the offense dictate to you I’d rather get off quick and blow stuff up good stuff Go Lions

Tony Blumenschein

I don’t know if there could be another fanbase that could want it more than the Detroit Lions fan base we want it bad we’re going to work hard do lions get some

    DukeofGames50

to be fair, Bengals really showed it this February. proud of them getting so far

    Burnt Food

True but nothing beats the lions

    DukeofGames50

@Burnt Food so much positivity in the locker room

Kareem Johnson

all those 3-4 systems had good to great LBs..Jus look at the Patriots all those yrs. We didn’t have the LBs for that. AG changing up the scheme is exactly what they need! Fast! Furious! and Frightening! They will wreck the league no one will be ready bcuz there is no film of it..

Tony Blumenschein

Man that sounds so cool I can’t wait Elam McNeil with our new cast of characters

kcosens15

Hey Tim, loving the podcast! A tiny little suggestion tho….maybe chill a little bit on the desk tapping…a little loud in the headphones lol. Also I wouldn’t mind some more Deeeeetroit specific questions…like what makes playing in Detroit unique? What are the advantages/disadvantages to playing in Detroit/Michigan? What makes Ford Field/the Lions fanbase different/unique to other cities and fanbases? What is your take on the current Lions regime and where it’s heading compared to the “stigma” that has plagued this team for so many years? And btw…I give you permission to steal these questions lol

Kevin Kelley

word association…Levi…bust. Notice how Alim,Aiden and Harris responses were football related and Levi?……hilarious. #41 overall, only 40 other players selected befor Levi and he has no motor and was azero all year.

    steve p

You do realize he was hurt last year right? How about we wait and see what he looks like healthy with a year in the weight room before calling him a bust.

    Kevin Kelley

@steve p of course, but if he was so hurt why was played so much in the second half of the season. I watch him as a 3rd man in on every tackle tip toeing around. Remeber Alim chasing down the running back who broke free? Never saw anything from Levi. he had PFF grades as low as 28 and in the 30’s. His highest grade was a 51 in one game. They wouldnt have drafted Paschel if they were confidant in Levi.

    Marquise E

@Kevin Kelley Levi is more of a interior lineman than edge rusher but he can also play on the edge and why not draft another pass rusher considering pass rushers go down often during the season you can never have too many Levi will definitely be better than pashchel he’s gonna be healthy and has a year of grown man weight lifting under his belt and have you not watched any of his interviews he’s very hungry to get back out there

steve p

I wish Tim had asked Brock what it’s like going against the lions offensive line.

    Bobbo Lan

My dawg, you just ruined the video. I’m half way through watching, waiting to hear the same question. I want to know that as well.

Good Trubble

Love my Lions!

Fredric Clack

ALL Coaches 3-5YRS!

Dale Anderson

Michael Brokers is a pro’s pro. I’m glad he’s a Lion.

John Thrasher

Michael Brockers, the absolute best!

Fann man

Good show!!!

Bryan Smith

Would love to see Brock stick around and join Lomas and TJ on the media side of things

Chris Deck

Knew the Lions were a young crowd, but looking it up after this intro surprised me…

Brockers at 31; Big V at 29; Decker and Daly at 28 (+ maybe Griffin or Funchess at 28). That’s it for those who are more than a year older than the league average age from last year (26.1 years). Crazy…

Bobbo Lan

I’m not urgent for a mountain of success from the Lions. I understand this is still rebuild mode.

Paul Novak

Tim, love the podcast. Lions are gonna go 17-0 this year. Also what’s with the green shirt? Please where the Honolulu blue for your next interview. We not cheeseheads
