Man, I had such high hopes for Lawson last year (telling my buddies he would be top 3 in sacks) so I am really rooting hard for him to comeback this year! Great guy too!

@Angry Knick Fan Loyaltony From the reports in camp he was the best player on the team by far. I thought we had a strong D-Line going into camp and he would thrive in the system. Top-3 is pretty bold I’ll admit.
I like the fact that Carl appears to be more business-like this summer. We’re all done with the talking. Now we need to see him on the field during the season making plays. Good luck, Carl!

I was eager knowing he was returning and watched his last camp and he’s SPECIAL! I honestly feel like the Jets can pull a Bengals. Knock on wood.

Since the New York Jets totally turned the organization around, now it’s time to upgrade these beat reporters!! They suck! Asking obvious questions and always bringing up negative things! They don’t care about the Jets! They just want to write a BS story!!!
Same here….I have been hating these beat reproters…they all ask the same repetitive questions because they can’t think of anything to ask and ehat they fo ask is always about the negative stuff or questions with obvious answers…The worst is Rich Cimini…he is Manish Mehta 2.0
I have loved the Jets for a long time. I just do not want to hear about how great the potential of the team is thru the roof, or whatever cliche could be mentioned. Let the team win a division first, and then talk about accomplishments, as we all have heard this before, from several versions of the team..

I understand your point of view, as it is a historically impoverished franchise. But I do feel there’s a change coming. Not playoffs this year, but much better.

It’s all going to come down to Injuries (which have plagued us more then most teams the last 2-3 years..(our field is trash which every team complains about) and how much Zach Wilson improves and shows he can be our franchise QB of the future…
I absolutely love Carl’s honesty. Between his answers to any question, and the enthusiasm he carries himself with. I hope he does come back better than ever and we get to have him in Gang Green for the rest of his long career.
