Host Eric Allen is joined in studio by NFL analyst Brian Baldinger. They start out discussing the additions made by the Jets via the 2022 NFL Draft (0:30), Baldy breaks down how the dynamic has changed for the offense after the drafted players and free agents (2:30). The guys discuss Zach Wilson and how he does not have to take a leap all by himself with all the new weapons on offense (7:20). Then they switch to the other side of the ball and talk about the additions on defense that the Jets have made during the offseason (12:02), and go deeper looking at the depth at the cornerback position (14:00). Lastly, they discuss the impact that Joe Douglas had made as general manager (15:15) and his relationship with Robert Saleh (17:30).

    I agree. I’m more excited about this team’s future even more than the 2009-2010 era because I genuinely feel that they are a year or 2 away from winning a Super Bowl. In the Tom Brady era with the Patriots, I always had a difficult time envisioning the Jets surpassing the Patriots for and extended amount of time. That’s not the case with these Jets.

    Me to! I’ve sat and watched almost every game every season since 1989. That includes that Kotite team in 96 they were 1-15. In my opinion we are the test of real fans!

If Joe Douglas has this roster playing meaningful games in December and then making the playoffs in 2023 then the Adam Gase hire could be the worst but best decision in NY Jets history because his relationship got Joe Douglas in the building. Looking forward to the 2022 season.
