Same here. I’m a huge fan of the position of cornerback in football. As a kid I loved Neon Deion Sanders. When Revis was a Jet he quickly became my favorite Jet ever. Sauce reminds me of a combination of both and if he’s half of that he’ll still be a hell of a corner. For months I’ve said that the Jets would get Sauce. His style, his skill and his name just FIT that NY swagger.
@Victor Perruna i was on the sauce train months ago, and people called me crazy for wanting him at 4 let alone 10. then the combine happened and he tore it up like i knew he would. some players you just see got it and he has it. and yeahh same revis was my favorite player of all time, hopefullly sauce can dethrone him lol
@stephen kapler I think most people like me were skeptical of Sauce at 4 *solely* bc we thought that’d make it nearly certain they either don’t get a top tier Edge or a top tier WR
@Dsmith551 i feel that but like i said there’s certain blue chip players every draft and passing on one to get a 3rd or 4th edge to fill a need is not a great move in my opinion. happy we went the route we did and it obviously worked out still being able to get JJ
