Agreed. It’s not doubt that Wentz can move the ball down field with the receivers we hve joining “Scary Terry” and don’t sleep on Dyami Brown this yr👍🏾
@raymond bennett it’s his system. He not only did it in Carolina, he did it his first year here with Haskins and A. Smith. Both of those guys had decent arms plus they had an excellent ball tracker in McLaurin.

Say what you want about Wentz….but that man throws a pretty pass. His deep balls are more often than not right on target and if we can just keep these games close I think he will win us another 2-3 games…that means we go from 7-10 last year to 9-8/10-7 would be HUGE!!!
Possible, especially considering our schedule is easier. The defense took a step back by not re-signing Collins as a LB though. His 81 tackles in only 13 games will be missed. If Holcomb goes down the season is over. These coaches are unbelievable.

I can count on one hand how many times Gibson was sent deep the past 2 years. Turner keeps saying he’s going to use Gibson more in the passing game yet hasn’t done it yet. Gibson received 8 targets more than he did his rookie year despite Mckissic and Samuel being hurt and despite the WR group being subpar. Turner is full of it. The biggest mismatch on the field is Gibson’s 4.39 speed vs the average LB yet he’s underutilized in the passing department. Defenses know to bring in an extra DB against Mckissic but are more inclined to leave in a LB vs Gibson.
I think a lot of it was injuries and not wanting to overuse him cause they needed him more in the run game think if we stay healthy this is the year to see if turner can really do something
@Bdreww GamingI’ll have to disagree. It’s been 2 years and how many times have you seen Gibson deep? When you’re trying to win games and when you’re constantly playing from behind, you don’t limit a player that’s for the most part healthy. Hell, Samuel was still hurt and Turner used him as a running back a few plays. We needed him more than Gibson. We’re talking a couple of plays a game, not a full time move to WR. Turner is like most coaches where it’s more about the system and not an individual player’s pros.
I think antonio needs to get better with his ball skills. Maybe the whole reason we haven’t thrown the ball to him maybe be that. His vision hasn’t been the best but I expect him to flourish this season. He has to step up

I got to keep it all the way to 100 we should have kept Kevin O’Connell as the offensive coordinator when Ron took over these last two years I have seen Scott Turner call some horrible plays and yet we reward him with a three-year extension as if his dad gave him the golden Playbook and he going to call plays from that
