@Sky Blaze why even put that in the atmosphere? Sam isn’t going to play before Taylor period. He won us 7 games with a depleted roster, Sam hasn’t even played in a preseason game yet, I doubt he would win us 3 games. Let him develop. Carson played all 17 games this past year.

Calling it now, injuries aside Percy Butler will make an immediate impact. A starter is definitely a possibility by mid season

@Silly Goose I watched his tape and he has great speed and size, he closes gaps really well I think those corners would benefit. He just hesitates slightly too long but I think he’ll adapt

Jahan Dotson should be awesome right out of the gate. McLaurin and Samuel will attract a lot of the defenses attention so Dotson should have lots of single coverages. With his sure hands and aggressive play style, that should work out great for him!

Idk I like Kyle Hamilton at 11 but I’m not complaining I think we reached a little and could of got some higher ceiling guys but I like the draft
If this class hits, there really isn’t many roster holes, especially if Collins comes back, then they resign Terry and Holcomb and we are in solid shape for next year to.

we passed on Leo Chenal 2x when we didnt have a single mlb on the roster…but we did draft a 2nd string short yardage hb and a 3rd string DT…our LB room last year was the worst in the league and we drafted 0 LBs. Our starting free safety is below average…our starting SS from last year isnt on the team…we drafted 0 linebackers and 0 SS…the holes we had on the team we still have.
@Bodhisfattva ” dont have a mlb on the roster”, you really havent heard RR say he wants holcomb to do it and LC has mutual interest in returning and we are hardly in base anyways

Not quite. Still a few positions that have question marks. TE, MLB, S, and CB. Another off-season of FA and the draft and 2023-24 they should be primed!

Awesome very pleased that the coaching staff is pleased with the draft picks. A starting Mike LB, some Back 7 depth and OL chemistry are the main areas to shore up this summer.

Percy Butler is touted as a “free safety” for his pass coverage skills. So why is RR talking about him as buffalo nickel. This reminds me of Jamin Davis, who after one collegiate year as an outside LB was thrown in to the Commander lineup as our MLB. How did that work out.
The commanders should never have changed their name and JDR is right! Ron Will regret the decision to fine JDR sooner than later as it will affect viewership.
