Going to be a great season I can feel it!
@Adam Dub I am a Vikings fan, but I’m also a bettor. Usually fans on the inside know the team rather intimately. I’m just curious what the fans like about the team this year? I for one, think Kirk has a ceiling around 8-10 wins, regardless of the pieces they put around him, and 8-10 wins to me isn’t a great season, it’s barely making the playoffs most years. I also think KOC is going to be a young first year coach trying to find his style, which usually doesn’t bode well for a great season either. McVays first season with the Rams didn’t go well
@scotch nietz yeah that 8-9 or 9-8 wont cut it and like rookie qbs coaches will have there ups and downs but it just feels like a whole different team and I feel like 10 to 12 wins this season. Do you think we can win 10 or 12 games?
@Adam Dub Personally, I see Kirk as a flawed QB. If the roster is able to give him perfect conditions, and support him in tough spots, he can do well. But if he’s asked to do more than manage the offense, that’s usually when he runs into trouble. To me, it seems like the league has the blueprint on how to get him off his game – rattle him early with pressure, get him to turn it over, and he falls apart the rest of the game. Idk how you coach that out of him, along with Bradbury still being the starting center.
The defense i also have concerns. Even though they had a fair bit of roster turnover, their secondary is Pat Pete, Dantzler and a bunch of rookies. And then up front they’re relying on Hunter/Smith to stay healthy, with next to zero depth.
Yep Vegas has the Vikings win total set at 8.5,..yep gonna be a great season like always.
