Super excited for the season. Can’t wait, even though the division looks tough. I think we have always played the division tough, but now with a better qb I think we are going to win the division
Getting swept by the chiefs 6 years in a row and the raiders 2 is playing the division tough? Ok.
All the games were close, a couple of the chiefs wins were miraculous throws with the left hand and other miracle plays. What team do you like? Cause as long as I can remember we have dominated the afc west 3 Super Bowl wins since 1998. Like I said what is your team

Broncos has had same problem for last 5 years, defense does their job makes stops, Offense, nothing..maybe field goal.. Defense never has time to rest, 3 and out with Drew lock in 48 Seconds then defense up again. Defense is A+++ imo, but now we have a QB who can move the ball and give defense 3 minutes or more to rest.. 14 wins this season easily!!
Easily? Nah. But 14 wins is doable. I say they win 11.

Darth Cryst You say this being fully aware the Seahawks we dead last in time of possession last year and bottom third in 3rd down conversions %? Wilson takes deep shots down the field. It makes for explosive exciting plays. He is not a move the chains with shirt ot intermediate throws qb. He also prefers hurry up, another style not conducive to giving the defense a long time to rest.
Be excited to have Wilson, but also understand what he is and what he isn’t.
@ZERO lowerBOUND yes true, but O-line is where the difference is, even if he doesn’t do long passes, he has Williams, Gordon, and Hinton to make an arsenal of running plays..Wilson’s a runner too. But we’ll see if a QB really makes the difference 🤔..
You must of never watched Russ, just the deep ball highlights. He’s the 3 and out king. Got way to aquatinted with the punter cuz of him.
*HOW CAN RUSS MAKE THE BRONCOS DEFENSE BETTER?*
The same way he made the LoB better: by extending plays, which translates to extending drives, keeping opposing defenses on the field and wearing them down, and keeping opposing offenses off the field.
That will rest his defense and keep their legs fresh, allowing the defense to play more recklessly, and stunt and blitz more often.
If Hackett’s offense is properly designed, it will utilize the run, but it will utilize the run creatively and still allow Russ to throw more short and intermediate passes, collapsing the defenses and allowing Russ to stick it down their throats with his beautiful deep ball.

Pete had no imagination, and he handcuffed Russ in the first half of 75-80% of games for 10 years.
And Russ DID make the LoB better. They didn’t make him better…he made THEM better! Pete’s problem was that he somehow. Onvonced himself that he was a good NFL coach…that the success was due to his system and coaching. It wasn’t!
Russ had to bail out Pete and the LoB more times than I can count, and I hate the fact that people outside of the Pacific Northwest don’t know that.
When the lob was average giving up 15 points a game, Russ barely had to do anything. That’s why we could win with 3 field goals and a touchdown. Russ wasn’t putting up astronomical numbers in the lob years.
The AFC west has such amazing QB’s and pass rushers. For the Broncos to dominate the division they will need to pressure the Mahomes, Carr, and Herbert. At the same time protect Wilson and run the ball. It’s going to be an exciting season.
