Stefanski offenses have been 30th or worse in WR targets the past few years. Stefon Diggs was frustrated in Minnesota with Stefanski offense and went to Buffalo got 150+ targets and become a elite top five 1,500 yds WR. OBJ was frustrated with Stefanski offense and went to the Rams to ball out and win the Super Bowl. I’m hoping with a elite QB like Deshaun Watson and a elite route runner like Amari Cooper Stefanski opens up the passing offense and let Coop get 140-150 targets for the first time in his career.
WR’s have to work in chuncks more in this offense. i wouldnt foresee that many targets to Coop. He dont strike me as a guy to complain either. Also, it was documented, many of the frustrations in Minnesota revolved around Cousins, not Stef.
@Jason Burns Cousins isn’t a pure elite passer like Deshaun Watson and Baker definitely isn’t a pure elite passer like Deshaun Watson. Stefanski and Coop said the entire OTA’s and minicamp have been like a passing camp and installing a new passing offense. Coop did complain last year after Dallas intentionally cut his targets to justify getting rid of him. Dude finished tied 36th in targets last year SMDH
