Yea, we had that with the Texans and it was a tough win when it should’ve been fairly easy.
Its a pre-season practice. There won’t be any sort of actual offensive/defensive install shown for NO to see.
@moonlite gamer Nothing wrong with early competition. It’s not like we’re gonna use much of the playbook and it’s just practice.
If anything it has helped them since Matt has been here, can be risky but, it gets the young guy’s ready. We don’t show them the main look for the year

Last season the media was told that Love needed to work on the playbook and his footwork. Would like a question for LaFluer if he sees improvement in those areas.
Agreed. That’s basic follow up. I understand a MM QB school is incompatible with the modern NFL off-season, but there’s seemingly a devil may care aura around developing the depth at QB now.
In the days of Ron Wolf GB was a QB factory. Maybe they don’t want to over promise on Love or scratch the thin skinned starter, but at the same time this off-season is a turning point for Love’s career. 12’s future is still very much up in the air. More qbs fall apart than succeed at his age. You’d like to see Love be that young lion waiting to pounce.
I don’t expect him to master the playbook or execute it at an exceptionally high level, but as a fan you want to see confidence and desire to grab every opportunity for leadership. Ideally Love makes 12 feel like me needs to show up to OTAs to protect his throne. That’s clearly not the case.
Every public interaction the team has with the fan base over Love feels like a shaky used car sale. Like no one’s going to know what’s wrong until it’s two weeks too late.
