I watched him alot and Karlaftis is great. I do not understand why the Chiefs have not drafted or signed from the Undrafted pool interior defenders. Do you know why. Second hope that Spag does not sabatog Karlaftis ability. Spag should be fired now.
spags is the reason that karlaftis fell, spags runs an old scheme and karlaftis perfectly fits the scheme. Not sure why you think spags is gonna ruin him lol.
@Zach B Zack do not forget that Spag was using Sorensen rather than Bolton who was at his peak last season. Spag is sabeture and will force players to sit on the line under the pretext that they do not understand his sophisticated scheme of defense. Spag is BS and he made the Rams calamity when they were in SL.
@Ismael Ibrahem sorenson and bolton don’t play the same position lol. The only reason we even picked karlaftis is because of spags, no other teams wanted him because he isn’t a modern pass rusher. karlaftis is going to be spagnolos golden boy. And i’d rather have a saftey on the field than a linebacker if we need coverage. Hard to blame spags, bolton doesn’t have the ability to do anything for the pass.

You’re looking at it the wrong way. He’s got a simplified skillset but was still good enough to be a projected 1st round pick who was invited to the green room. That should tell you how good he is anyways. Not only that, dude hasn’t played football for long, picked it up super quickly and everyone says his best football is ahead of him. Essentially, what we have right here is a guy who hasn’t even reached his full potential yet, likely would have been taken higher had he played another year and could quickly become the next JJ Watt. Well worth the selection.
