Why are we wasting a high 2rd round pick on a rb which we could have gotten in the later rounds or sign a undrafted rb after the draft. We could have used the pick on more important positions like OT, LB, another WR, another CB & DE

@J.r. Caron We are deep at CB, RB, QB, WR now and good at DL and O-line. We will get pipeline O-line and D line tomorrow or in Free agency. Our only questions are LB and Safety…..Maybe JD thinks they’re good at those positions. Hard to be Deep at every position though.
The ethos of the backroom and the draft plan in general has clearly been to draft the BEST and to do whatever it takes to ensure that happens. If the sense was that Breece wasn’t going to be there by the time Jets rock up then trade up and get em. Jets got the CB1. The WR1. The Edge1. The Rb1. It’s an embarrassment of riches. I feel like OT and LB will be addressed in the draft today.
3rd and short situations, just got another option. Lafleur playbook will be a mighty tome. Will make War.&Peace look small

Wow; this a first time heard this; Jets tried to trade for him in the 1st round. he definitely was in Jets top 8 prospects.
I thought before the draft i expected Jets to double their wins from last year; but after this draft so far Jets need to win minimum 8 games no excuses. Zach got to show me a little something more this year 2. Last year Jets had unprecedented injuries. I don’t see this happening again. No Excuses!!!
