Best ranked S in the draft. Best percentage in the SEC

Chris Kay

He seems like a great guy. Lets go!!!

Alec H

I get some people are upset about the trade but don’t take it out on this kid. He doesn’t deserve it

Johnny Teach

Super stoked about this kid! Going to be a game changing player and seems like a really good dude too.

Michael Milliken

This kid is smart, humble but confident, relaxed but dominate, hard working, and physical nightmare on the field. He knows what he wants, and knows where he is going. Doing it all for the right reasons. Everytime he is asked a question, and the answers he gives is like he is 30-40 years old with experience. Man I love this pick and glad he is part of this new regime. Lets Get it Cine #SKOL

    Newt

I love it! What a mature and smart young man. I was so impressed with how he has handled these interviews.

    hammerpocket

Agree. Far from the repetitive, tired cliches that a lot of players draw on for interviews.

Sail Foam

It’s a bummer that this kid will be tied to a bad trade until he proves that he was ultimately worth it. He sounds incredibly smart and down to earth, and seems like he’ll be a good player.

    trentnomads194

Two rolls of the dice is better then just one roll of a slightly higher draft order. The analytics support it. None of the guys available at 12 were that impressive by my estimate too so I don’t think it was bad trade.

    Sail Foam

@trentnomads194 Hamilton was there, but otherwise I mostly agree. They should’ve gotten more value honestly. Otherwise I don’t really care, Cine seems like he’s somewhat of a sleeper with big upside

    hector colon

What bad trade. Hamilton its not that good. They having played one snap yet. Oh I get it Hamilton went to the pro bowl last week. Georgia had five first rounders including the first pick overall and Cine still won the MVP doesn’t that tell you something and did you watch the combine

    Roosevelt Riley

It wasn’t a bad trade.. Hamilton isn’t better, he’s just bigger. Plus Cine played in a better conference, not to mention that he’s a national champion

    Sail Foam

@hector colon I don’t really care that much about the Hamilton aspect, but the fact that he’s the #1 choice and considered to have an extremely high ceiling matters. People trying to outsmart consensus opinions on these players are only outsmarting themselves. Regardless, dropping 20 spots in the first to move up 12 in the second and a high 3rd round doesn’t seem worth it unless they hit on those picks. If they hit then fine, but good luck hitting on all of those picks. Cine seems like a great pick at 32 but the others we’ll just have to wait and see. Combine is interesting but doesn’t necessarily translate. You’re evaluating football players, not combine players. Not pretending like I know more just giving my opinion. You’re also just plain wrong if you think GMs and HCs always know more than the average person too. Look at the Jalen Rheagor pick over JJ as a prime example.

What I’m getting from hearing him speak I like this kid he has the attitude to be great very well spoken 😈💪🏾

Wayne Kerr

I love his personality. Honestly reminds me of Hitman.

zach rizzo

Honestly, I think people are being extremely overcritical of the trade back, I understand that it was with the Lions, but they obviously wanted two picks through 34 instead of 46. Kwesi has only been the GM 2 months and this kid obviously has a good head on his shoulders

    Natural Twenty

Now they trade out of the top 50 with the Packers no less. 🤢😭

Rob E

What a great kid. Open, relaxed, genuine and a sense of humour. Kwesi and Kevin are bringing high quality guys to our locker room.

    Mark Lopez

    Yes, 100% correct..

Andrew Washechek

Good guy!! Good pick up and worth the extra picks at this point. We got our safety for the next decade +

Raymond Hoagland

Good luck Lewis , welcome to the purple 🏈 💜 !

k4nc3r

Well, I feel better now having listened to him. Character matters, and this kid seems incredibly mature, smart and well spoken.

SKOL BABY!

Ken Tinman

Seems like a really good kid.
What amazes me about him is how similar his personality is too Harrison Smith.

iLikeApples

Love his personality. Humble man.

Brian Larson

A quality person will be a great fit with Vikings.

george petree

Super super impressed with this kid and his interview here. Very composed, intellectual, and well received interview. Especially from someone his age. Excited for him, and his family. Gonna be life changing money. I expect we will see this young man in purple until he’s growing gray 😏 and his play?? Whhheeeewwww… hitman 2.0 right here 🤙🏻🤙🏻

Bandito Suavecito

Dude what? Kid’s got BIG WIT ENERGY… He speaks like someone who knows their process and the scrapes to apply maximum stopping power. Please someone stop me, I’m excited cause this guy is impressive

Josiah Prosser

Great interview, stand up kid. He honestly reminds me of Harrison Smith. We are about to have 2 hall of fame safeties

Erroneous Monk

I like his style. This is the kind of player I can really support.
