BDawk is also a small guy in that safety position, so imo Dean is like BDawk but as LB
People overestimate size in DB’s/LB’s. Its about form tackling with no regard for human life. You just throw yourself into another man full speed, without a doubt he’s not breaking it. He’s got that mentality, you can see it.
Jordan mialata will keep davis weight in check dudes are the same size !!
I am not worried about Davis weight. Actually I think, he will lose more weight before training camp. He is with the professionals now, and they are properly going to tell him, they want him at a specific type of weight. He’s going to be focused because that’s the Eagles team dog mentality. We have good inspiration Vets on this team to teach these young players where they need to be. This team have the less Divas than other professional teams.

As a huge eagle fan and Alabama fan Ive seen Dean play. He was the best player on that defense and has the tape to prove it. The last 3 drafts have been amazing as a Alabama and eagles fan. Wish we had Jameson but I’ll definitely take aj brown. Fly eagles fly
Totally agree guys. Hopefully Jalen works out and we can use that draft capital next year and get Will Anderson. Can you imagine that defense with the best edge rusher to come out in the last few years with Davis amd Dean.
And Jameson WISHED he was drafted by the Eagles. You could see it clear as day Thurs night! He was pissed!

I am a Bama & Philly fan also because of Jalen Hurts. I followed him to OU & now at Philly. Howie & Sirianni did a great job overall. I was thrilled with the Nakobe Dean pick.

@Smalls WRLD everyone is basically running Nickel defense now anyway instead of another dback you have an undersized Lb
@Adam of Good maybe not the best comparison but Ray Lewis was an undersized LB to.
@J T when I watch his tape I do see a LOT of Brian Dawkins in his game. That speed to the ball , sideline to sideline quickness also being able to get into the back field. If he can develop the hands & ball tracking never knoww.
@Adam of Good no it’s not in this day nd age the nickel is the perfect example and Malcom Jenkins himself said he shined more in that defense nd look at his weight height playin lb on sum plays
@Almighty Jinky what do you mean no it’s not ? Nickel defense was played 60% of the time last year and this has been the trend for a decade. It’s the new base defense.

Im really excited about the players we’ve gotten so far in this draft, but something else that has me feeling really good is that Howie seems to have gotten away from that mindset of trying to prove he’s smarter than everyone else by reaching on players in hopes that they hit. It feels like he has learned from his mistakes and he’s making the right picks now.

This dude is one of the most instinctive leaders on the field I’ve ever seen and the best defensive player on his team. People gonna be sorry for passing on him.
