If I was to package you two sets of players to pick in the first round for the Texans and I could package for you Derek Stingley and Kenyon Green, or Kayvon Thibodeaux and Jordan Davis, who would you have taken as a package? for me, its a no brainer.. the Defensive line is an absolute disaster, the place where the greatest need is, and we totally ignored it in the first round.. The defensive line has been the biggest glaring need for the Texans, you had no ability to stop the run and you had no ability to rush the passer.. everyone ran on you and you could not stop the run and you could not get after the QB.. the fewest sacks in the NFL.. and we did nothing to fix it.. but hey, you got a corner who has not played much in 2 years and a guard you picked at #15 who was mocked at 27.. we could have had an A grade, but we got a C grade.. at least fix something in this draft.. if it be the Offensive line now that you got Kenyon Green or the secondary now that you got Stingley.. fix something..
Kayvon Thibodeaux is a bust dude. There’s questions about his work ethic, but he’s way less talented than Clowney.
Just go watch his interviews dude: kid always talked about how he’s the best, and no mention of working hard
Defensive line is a disaster??? Greenard 8 sacks were just luck I guess. Roy Lopez starting as a 6th Rd pick means nothing. Maliek Collins having a career yr means nothing. Having the worst offense IN THE WORLD, going 3 and out a damn near a NFL RECORD amount of times means nothing. Leaving our defense on the field all game means nothing. You mad because we didn’t take the sexy pre draft hype hall of Fame players. You have to be a casual fan. The defensive line is headed in the right direction. All we need is that dominant edge rusher. BUT for you to say that this line is a disaster is ridiculous. I hate that fans can say whatever they want with NO CONTEXT, NO KNOWLEDGE AND DAMN SURE NO RESEARCH. John Greenard had 8 sacks and only played just over half the year, (10 games)but you wouldn’t know that. The stats are what the stats, but this defense line is trending upwards
@Every Day Is DRE-day while I do agree, I also believe in taking the best player available who fits your team. We didnt need a tackle with Tytus and Tunsil shores up, and Thayvon is a boom/bust prospect so it came down to Stingley vs Sauce
