I wanted us to get a WR but I liked the picks I would say W first round. (Plus their names are just goated)

I don’t care if we get a WR until the 7th round. We lost the games we lost because of defense! We were 4-1 WITHOUT TYREEK!…the one game we lost, Pat was still recovering from an injury(1st week after)….my biggest concern now is a quality OT, or OL that can fill in if Wylie goes down, because I am not sure Niang will be healthy, or even….if he is the gut! 🥴🤷♂️😉

As a fanbase we should be ecstatic about getting more talented players on the defense. Andy Reid can make most WRs better.

@Hunter Well, Karlaftis started to get double-teamed with the best o-linemen. Not sure about McDuffie, but I have faith in these two! Let’s see for the 2nd and 3rd round tonight.

Need to check out what the experts say. McDuffie was ranked 2 or 3 out of all CB. The first 2 went 4&5. So one of the top CB falls to 21 and you don’t consider it a good pick when it is a position of need?

At first I was disappointed after Williams and Wilson fell. After much thought and deliberation, I’m glad that the draft fell this way. I think we are honestly better at WR now than we were with Tyreek, dynamic as he was. Patrick himself has said that the defense WILL NOT KNOW where the ball is going. They picked up Rojo. Veach, Reid and the Chiefs are building a dynasty, mark my words.
Let’s not go as far as saying dynasty. I’m not sure of that. We gotta have three rings in like 6 or 7 years for a dynasty.
Just like New England for the last 20 years we’re always going to be picking last when it comes to the first round get used to it. Of course the Jets jaguars the other teams are going to have great pics cuz they’re going to take the top 15 best players! But I’m glad we’re not the other team we’re the Chiefs!

@the outside conquer But I think that’s the point is that it doesn’t really matter as long as you have the best quarterback and several legit threats , they don’t have to be top statistics wide receivers

Good First Round! Need a pass rusher which we acknowledged. McDuffie is a good replacement for Ward. Defense was a priority and we did just that. There are some sleeper receivers second and third round. George Pickens from Georgia is good but still need to fill some defensive positions but good start

Great value for both players. Both positions were a need for the team. The funny thing about the draft is breaking the bubble of expectation that all these mock drafts were right. None of the top WRs were going to be there at 29/30, and for those angry we gave up a 3 and 4 to jump up, it’s a good trade and McDuffie is a baller. Most of the criticism is going to come for Karleftis, Two parts to consider, 1 is he can get better and you can’t coach motor. I feel a Jared Allen vibe, I bet if you go back people thought he was a bad pick up too? For fans remember this watching tape and analyzing a player is important but it ain’t the only part of an evaluation. I am excited, Go Chiefs!
I love your analysis! They will probably get another “edge”…..either a LB that can line up in a wide 9, or a fast Defensive End that is not as ready to “start” later on….a
Lots guys can “speed rush” if that is there only assignment. We did pretty good. Time will tell just how well😉

ABSOLUTELY….I would rather have a team full of above average players with a TEAM mentality and “WANT TO”….than guys that great talents , but are bunch of diva’s, that can divide a locker room & team!

Surprised we didn’t take Jermaine Johnson when we moved up. We still could’ve gotten a stellar corner at 30. But overall I’m happy with it.
I can’t believe it’s 2020 and they still aren’t micing reporters in press conferences.
