@Chewy Suarez Malik is gonna win is 5 games to are you slow? He’s unpolished behind a half finished OL. He’s a developing player. Just take the loosing season and get Bryce or CJ. Make it make sense. People making the argument that we should’ve reached for him at 9. Cross was the best pass blocker in the draft and wouldn’t have made it passed pick 12. Get your QB with your second round pick if anything to provide competition factor. But you shouldn’t be reaching for a QB in this draft

@Brandon Pete isn’t gonna wait a whole year to get a “good prospect QB” he even said himself it’s not a rebuild, they’re trying to win games and I think they’ll take a QB most likely at pick 41

@Chewy Suarez could be possible but saying we should’ve taken a QB at 9 is actually really dumb. Especially in this draft. But if Pete wanted a QB he wouldn’t have had Drew in the trade package and wouldn’t have paid Geno what he has been payed. He won’t tank but he’s gonna squeeze everything he can out this season. Even if it’s 6-7 wins. If you draft a QB now there was no point in getting Geno back or lock. And I never said the word “tank” in my statement. Pete will never aim for pick #1 but talent wise this team will wind up in then upper top 10 or in the teens at most. You can still get a QB better QB prospect there if lock doesn’t work this year. They have nothing to loose and are in no need to hurry. Let the rams dig there own grave by paying all these players, not having any cap in the future, and no capital to like 2025. There is no need to hurry. These QB’s this year are developmental players. Next year the QB’s are day 1 starters.
Being a SB contender > Setting for wins like we have done from 2017-2021

@neil marshnot going down the Russ rabbit hole. 12’s were excited Gabe’s pass protection was being added to the team last season. D. Brown and Gabe together didn’t solve much. Again, TBD what Cross will do. Maybe he gels, maybe not. We’ll know more in 6-9 months 🤷‍♂️

@Dylogwapo Mississippi State runs a passing dominated offense, he blocked for over 700 passing downs last year, far more than running plays. He is rated on numerous scouting reports as ” the best pass blocker” among tackles in the draft.

Dean would be great, but I don’t want to lose that other pick. I feel like we can get an edge rusher and a linebacker at 40 and 41, there is still some quality talent available. Trading up to 33 or 34 is going to cost us a pick, and we need much more than just a linebacker. Love Dean, he’s the best at dropping into coverage of any linebacker in the draft.

@William Cooke I agree, I think we need to keep that second 2nd rd pick too. The good thing is I don’t think we’d need to trade it to move up, we might be able to dangle a 23 2nd rd pick with one of our current ones. He really is a player worth giving up some future pick value for.
