With all due respect, Association Football (soccer) is by far the most humbling sport over the NFL…especially for managers( coaches). Teams will fire a newly hired manager before even the half way mark of the season if they have a losing streak or get embarrassed in a game by a rival.

This isn’t Cam vs Rivera. The WFT defense pass rush is lacking. Sweat and Young are out. Their LBs can’t cover CMC. And the Panthers defense is the strength of this team, not Cam. The defense is gonna shut down Heinicke, regardless of what Cam gets done.

    @DFG kennels agreed…LB play has improved a bit…holcomb holding his own…Davis slowly learning…the biggest move has been allowing Landon Collins to play LB essentially…allowing him to use his skills most effectively in this D

I was surprised that they started Cam. Don’t get me wrong – I think that he will be a difference maker down the stretch and especially after a full spring of OTA’s, but I thought they would start PJ and add a bit more of Cam than they did last week. After all, PJ had an incredibly high completion percentage and Cam is a touchdown machine. Just have PJ manage the offense until they get to the redzone, then have Cam put up tons of points. That’s what I thought they would do.
That said, if they really think that Cam has a good grasp of the offense so quickly then by all means start him, I just think that they’re being a bit impatient.

I think Cam will be a bit rusty, still learning Ruhle’s and Brady’s system…but he still has a ton of talent, is mobile, and a total WC…having said that, if there is one HC that will know how to play Cam, it Ron Rivera! BTW, Florio and Simms are absolutely top shelf! go WSH!
