I was a non believer at first… I’m a full believer now in ANY move Beane makes, it’s been nothing but amazing moves since drafting Allen
And can you blame any of us? 17 seasons of failure, it’s all we knew! Didn’t take long for all of us to TRUST THE PROCESS! We just had to remember what a competent front office looked like.

I’ll admit, I was skeptical but was willing to give everyone a chance. I wanted to see what Josh did year three to know if he was legit. Yup he’s legit!!!!
Probably up to 4 days before the draft I believed the media then it was time to watch film like the boises state game and you could just see his talent and upside then we drafted him and I screamed cause he to me was already cam Newton esc who could be better then even Steve young was

I don’t recall a QB ever improve nearly this much. His improvement is on his own volition. No other players on the team made him that much better. He would be just as exceptional on any other team and bring them up to the same level as where the Bills are now. I really hope he retires as a Bill.

I was on the Josh Allen train from the beginning. However, I’m not God, I couldn’t even imagine him becoming as GREAT as he has. The perfect game, the best game ever the following week. He jumps over people, he’s the smartest person in any stadium he plays in and he has a rocket arm that is very accurate.
I too was for Allen. But sitting at #21 and #22 I felt there was no way we would get him. And then Beane worked his magic and was able to drop to #7. With everyone else people were talking about pretty much off the board, I could only hope, and sure enough, we got him. I liked him mostly for his work ethic a small town guy going from a Community Collage to a small D-1 college, I felt he would be perfect in our smaller market. I was so happy we got him and his work ethic has been paying off with his vast improvements through the years. And the best part of it is he hasn’t even reached his ceiling yet. Not even close IMO
Not going to lie. I wanted Baker, then Darnold, then Rosen. Allen made me so nervous & when we picked him, while I was bummed, I still wasn’t going to hate. But glad he proved me wrong. JA is amazing for Buffalo. As a QB, person, leader, and personality. He’s an easy person to cheer for

I knew from game one that Josh had it. Year 2 I was excited. Year three I am thanking God for that draft pick.

I didn’t know who he was when he was selected but I remember watching him run in those first two games he was out in and I got real excited. I said this kid can move! If he can throw he’ll be dangerous. And look at the man now! So glad I’m around for this bills era!
Me too! TBH that year I didn’t pay much attention to the score, after years of mediocre by the Bills, seeing fun plays by Josh was refreshing.
I was absolutely thrilled when Buffalo drafted Josh Allen. I was bragging to all my friends that we have a franchise quarterback! My friends thought I was dumb. I told them it’s gonna be just like when Jim Kelly was here. They still thought I was crazy.
I wanted this Josh from the get go. Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott had it right. Josh gonna bring the mafia and Buffalo the Lombardi.
