Let’s go Bucs! Defense gonna turn up this year! You’re the backbone to the teams success! Tom will do what he will to achieve success on the offensive side of the ball with 10 other players. The Defense is the difference between being dominate great team or just a good team. Special teams keep doing what y’all been doing.

@Benny Pit His production was awful, I’m happy they let him go. Can’t win games with a te who can only get a total of 135 yards for the entire season, I expected a lot more from him last year, disappointing.
Remember that orange pirate winking at you with that feather… I miss being able to go to the games cheap… But winning is a good substitute.

@Eric packers as long as Brady has time to throw to Julio (who will actually be getting the ball in TB, unlike in TN), Godwin and Evans, all will be fine. They have the best QB to get them the ball.
Shaq and Logan are HUGE signings Tampa fans, I’m a 33 year old New Englander that’s been front and center for the whole Brady journey. Those 2 guys are flat out champions. Plain and simple. #8 here we come!!!!! LFG!! Gooooo BUCS!!!!
Several things New England and Belichick has done since Brady left proves how wrong the media narrative is that Brady-Belichick hate each other. BB gave Gronk to Brady for basically nothing, sure if NE hadn’t traded him they would’ve gotten nothing b/c he was retired but if BB truly hated Brady there’s no chance in heII he would’ve ever traded Gronk.
Then this season Brady loses a very important aspect of his game, the O-line, and what does BB do almost immediately…… Hands Brady exactly what he needs and for dirt cheap again. Shaq is great but not just great he’s actually been getting better every year. And him and Brady already have experience together, actually more experience than Brady has with any other linemen in Tampa.
I’ve never seen a Coach/GM have this type of relationship with one of their star players after they leave for another team, there’s usually animosity with neither side wanting to help the other. I’ve also heard little birdies talking about New England was very interested in getting Fournette, brought him up for a meet and some figures were thrown around but Belichick backed off to give Lenny time to consider the Tampa offer. If that’s true, that’s way outside Belichicks character(and most GMs in general).

This is the second time I am really excited about this season.. the last 2 years and this coming up….. 1998 to 2002 with the defense we had was the other time…. I was excited going in to those seasons as well.
this era of being a bucs fan is so rewarding, I can only imagine what it must feel like for the players that we drafted who stuck it out through the rough years and are now re-signing. Jason Licht is an elite GM.

It still shocks me that the franchise Brady was with for 20 years and took to 9 Superbowls didn’t seem to put as much effort towards helping Brady as the Bucs have.
The patriots did give Brady decent top 10 defenses since they were able to put early draft picks and lots of cap space into it. The offense was always top 10 no matter what came their way, the scheme allowed for Brady to get rid of the ball within 2 seconds, making the o line look better than they really are and their offensive skill players they get for dirt cheap bc Brady was able to work well with anyone. The bucs like to air out the ball for long passes which is why they put a lot of money into the wr and o line position to give Brady more time for the deep throws but this also comes with a defense that might end up being average or so.
So pumped for this season. LFG!

Also, I agree with CD3, it does feel like when Brady first signed. The hype. The confidence in the team. The feeling within the fandom is joyous. Tampa is the place to be, thanks to the GOAT.

Fred Johnson looks like a big body Offensive lineman signing. Just give Tom 3 seconds and we’ll be golden, will be a welcome addition to Shaq Mason, Jensen, Stinnie, Hainsey, Wirfs and Donovan Smith. Russel Gage will be a weapon for sure, and Shaq Mason will be a guard dog.
Tom Brady is one of the class acts in the NFL. He the kind of guy you can give your kid as a roll model and not be disappointed . Great QB also.
