Exactly, plus not everyone got the play call. You could tell there was some confusion. People saying that was his fault are all 🤡🤡🤡

Technically he actually was the second best graded safety this season lol but it was just a bad play call on Todd bowls on that last play

@David Talamantez II “isn’t the best safety” and you say that as if it can come close to the season kupp had, even double teams couldn’t stop him in the superbowl. Regardless we lost 😂

@Axilrhon I know football very well and I been a bucs fan since Shawn King was qb lol i just think dude is overrated he’s a great tackler but I just think he’s awful in deep rout coverage even last year which I get was his rookie year and this was his 2nd year but I still think he’s unreliable in coverage and gets frustrated easily I will give him an A+ on tackling and safety blitz but I’m just not sold and me personally I think if he bulked up a bit and moved from safety to some kind of linebacker he would be better. again my opinion. also as a real bucs fan you have to have some back up teams because we’re usually trash which I ain’t mad the tickets are cheaper lol but u have to have a few teams so I watch quite a bit of football and I’m not saying I’m always right but I am right more times than not and Winfield just doesn’t seem to be that guy to me and I also played football and wrestling had scholarships for both but b4 I even got a chance to play a college game at practice I shattered my fib and tib in my right ankle and tore some ligaments and tendons which was a career ending injury life’s a bi–h lol so I say my football knowledge is pretty good actually my sports knowledge period is pretty good

@Christopher Wagner How is he bad in deep coverage? He’s a FS, if he was bad at that, I don’t think Todd Bowles or Bruce Arians would’ve trusted him with the starting job day 1 during his rookie year, let alone draft him as high as he did.

And don’t even say anything about him getting beat by Kupp in the divisional round. Bowles called a Cover 0 to keep the Rams from getting anything quick and cheap underneath. From what we’ve heard, the playcall wasn’t communicated in its entirety to the whole defense. SMB was supposed to carry Kupp up the seam to bracket him with Winfield. Since SMB didn’t carry Kupp, Winfield is left in a bad situation against one of the best recievers in the league.

And no, I don’t have back-up teams since I’ve been a loyal, die-hard Bucs fan since I was a little kid.

Decent play call, bad execution.
