Tom tried helping AB but he just can’t get out of his own way
I have so much respect for Tom. His answer was beautifully put. With his leadership I know AB will have the player’s support. Best wishes and prayers for AB and go BUCS!
Well he’s officially done in the NFL. AB’s respect for Brady was the only thing keeping him in check. Now everyone knows literally nothing not even big money can keep him in check. It’s sad someone close to him needs to get him checked in somewhere

I would love to have been a fly on the wall wherever and whatever room Bruce was in when he saw the AB thing happened! This being said, AB needs help. Brady is so gracious and caring in the way expressed himself about the whole situation. GOAT FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, Brady genuinely loves the man and is focused there. AB might have just lost it. Some sites have said that Bruce was telling him to go out on the field but his ankle was sore. (Other sites said he was benched and was mad about incentives) I have the feeling that it was like the Olympic gymnast who just couldn’t do it.
@Wishing B I think you are correct on all accounts. He lost money from his suspension and had a chance to make a cool $mil with catches. But he couldn’t run and just wanted stats from easy catches. He felt they ‘owed him’ easy catches. Bruce needed him to be an all pro receiver. I don’t think he could do that. He is obviously a head case (I think, he thinks the vaccine made his health worsen) and bad for the Champs. All ignorant speculation, of course, but…I’m glad to see him go.
I agree with TB12. I hope he gets the help he needs.

@Sergio Blanco So the cardinals who spiral down and went to 3 seed after 7-0 start, the niners are 9-7 (not in the playoffs yet still in the hunt), they didn’t play the bills so actually look at the schedule, the ravens (out of the playoffs) with a backup (also not playoff team)

I actually felt sad watching the game and seeing this.
We know his history.
We know these guys have egos ! So do coach’s ! But he is a human regardless and has more talent than any of us could imagine. Perhaps taking this stage away from him keeping him out of the spotlight now will force the help he may require.

Was at MetLife today. The stadium erupted in cheers with that last touch down. There were more brady fans than jets lol
@Natalia Greco basically in football there’s something called a “2 point conversion” that you can go for after the touchdown instead of the extra point kick. It’s more dangerous because you need to get a touchdown rather then a short kick

Yes, as I watched the Bucs go in after that touchdown, then watched the score advance 2 points, I said, “What the heck was that!? I never heard the announcers mention “two-point conversion”. @Natalia Greco It doesn’t happen too often but it’s done in certain situations. As sheba dog said, if they kicked the extra point, they’d be up by 3 and the Jets would just need a field goal to tie. They went for the 2 point conversion so they could be up by 4 points which would make the Jets need a touchdown because the they couldn’t tie it with a field goal (generally much harder to go down and score a touchdown as opposed to a field goal). However, it’s risky because if they didn’t convert the 2 point conversion (it’s generally easier to kick the extra point than to try to get into the end zone again) they would have only been up by 2 points. So the Jets could have won the game on just a field goal.
@Jack Hamm Thank you, Jack! It was an exciting remaining 15 seconds left – then I see the Bucs run the ball in for 2 points (i thought “what just happened?”) ….. LOL! Thanks to you and a few others who settled the score for me (no pun intended!) But during the game I was freakin’ out…….but Brady pulls it through (and so did the rest of the team) ((but i was in utter disbelief a few weeks back when the Bucs had ZERO POINTS! :-((((. That final drive was incredible as I heard it over the radio. It was a perfect two minute drill that allowed both teams to duke it out and determine which team’s conditioning was superior to last, and with ball control and execution coming through on a man to man basis, it gave them the opportunity to claim victory in the last minute where the other 59 minutes may have suggested a different story. Great credit to the Jets too as well, I’d knew theyd bring their A game.

You can see the hurt on Tom’s face as soon as the AB situation was brought up and to hear TB12’s response shows the kind of friend he is. That’s one good dude.
