So if all that doesn’t happen this week, will they clinch it next week when we beat the Saints?

    bowlchamps37

    Yes.

    salamipitza

if panthers and saints lose the division is clinched no matter what

Adam Leovick

We need a W this weekend!!!

Buffalo will definitely prepare us for the playoffs!

bowlchamps37

I actually don´t want the Saints to lose. Because we really need the SOV if it comes down to tiebreakers. We already take a big hit playing the Jets. And the most likely scenario, if Bucs challenge for the no1 seed will come down to SOV.

    FBP O

Not necessarily. If we assume the Bucs win out we need Arizona and GB to drop one game each to get the #1 seed. If Arizona loses to either the Cowboys or Colts, then Bucs have the tiebraker of common opponents (Rams, Panthers, Colts, Cowboys) with Arizona having 2 losses against them and the Bucs 1.
TL:DR we dont need SOV if the Cardinals loss comes against either the Colts or Cowboys.

Ben Vasilinda

We need to win out just to keep that 3rd spot because the other teams in our conference are so sad that they are weighing us down. If we won out, we would have to hope GB loses one more game to reach that 2nd spot. I doubt Arizona will lose 2-3 and slip. I’m fine with 3rd, we got a mostly healthy roster and that will get us back to the SB.

Andrew Coons

If we can win this weekend we have a good chance of jumping to the #1 seed by the end of season. Cards & Pack could each loose twice

Need that W this weekend!

New Orleans losing to the jets? I doubt it but it’s possible. You know what JETS stands for?

Casey is class. Knowledgeable, engaged and seems to really love the game. Enjoy watching her. Looking forward to the Bills game. One of the biggest games this week.

Dorrit Takach

YES YES YES! It worries me though the Packers have it easy the next four games. Another BUCS Super Bowl win would be one, nice holiday present..

I’m a longtime Buccaneer fan of course and I just want to say you guys do a good show. Casey Phillips does no football and she’s a very good host and commentator. I keep forgetting the other guy’s name but he’s great also obviously and he knows a lot more football. But I wanted to tell you guys I’ve been checking out some of the Sports commentator shows from Buffalo in the last few days and while they really have an excellent broadcast. You should actually check it out. We have pewterreport and the show you guys do and a few others but honestly Buffalo provides a lot more coverage and more consistently and the shows are longer as well. Anyway really good show you’re doing thanks a lot

I’m nervous and concerned about this game tomorrow with buffalo. In fact I feel rather tense and nervous watching all the games lately. It is so tough when we lose games and there is a lot of anxiety watching as the score Ebbs and flows. The odds are very high that sooner or later some team is going to knock us out of the playoffs or Super Bowl. So we cannot expect to win the Super Bowl every year that’s for sure. It is truly amazing that Tom Brady has won one third of all of the Super Bowls played in the last 20 years. And he’s played in half of them. That means there is a 33% chance that he will win the Superbowl in any given year. However I think it would be statistically very accurate to say it’s unlikely that Tom Brady will win another Superbowl before he retires. He certainly has a good chance like a lot of other players and teams but statistically it’s just unlikely. Even so that is the Ultimate Prize and it could certainly happen. I’d love to see him when one or two more before he retires at the age of 48. And yes I think he should play as long as he can. Set that example. Have the greatest career possible. Don’t get out of the game until you really don’t have a chance to lead the team into the playoffs. As long as Brady can keep bringing us a winning record and keep getting us into the playoffs I think he should play until he decides to step out of the game.

Malcolm Hathorne

Such a big game psychologically. If we win we will still be in the running for the best record in the NFC and a first-round bye in the playoffs. Plus home-field Advantage all the way till the Super Bowl. Buffalo on the other hand is playing for survival. They’re going to be desperate and hungry and most likely very focused. This is a home game for the Buccaneers and we need to show up big time. I’m just learning about the fact that Buffalo has the number one ranked defense in the NFL! That is something you don’t hear talked about anywhere near enough. There’s all of this talk about how great Josh Allen is and we’ve seen it in all of the highlights. But somehow it seems to get lost in the shuffle the fact that Buffalo has such a highly rated defense as well. With our defensive issues handling the passing game, you just have to expect Buffalo is going to be throwing the ball all day long. Hopefully our defense and secondary can have a really good game. And Tom Brady needs to be sharp and focused and keep moving that ball downfield and into the endzone as often as possible. That is really the key to the game. It all starts with Brady and the offense. Keep our defense resting and keep Josh Allen and the bills off the field as much as possible. I have a feeling Josh Allen is going to scramble for a lot of yards. Like 50 or 60 or more. However I also feel like our defense is going to step up for this game. Like they did against Patrick Mahomes in the Super Bowl. Anyway I’m really wired up for this game. I’ll be watching on NFL Game Pass from Ecuador where I’m currently living for a while. I lived in Tampa for like 45 years of my life.

Malcolm Hathorne

I hope we really punish the New Orleans Saints when they come to Tampa Bay! Losing that game to Trevor Simeon was really painful! But you know they’re going to play us hard. By the way it’s a shame that Jameis Winston got injured against the Buccaneers. He was really trying to start over with New Orleans and had done quite well in those first few games or so. That’s really unfortunate when a team loses their quarterback like that.

Malcolm Hathorne

I just realized 2026 will be the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I’ve been a fan since the Inception in 1976.
