People who think that Shaq doesn´t play well since he got his well deserved contract should just shut up and stop looking at sacks alone. He is in a group of 4 defensive players to be in the top5 in each significant pass rush metric, together with Aaron Donald, T J Watt and Myles Garrett. Once the defense is healthy and we might cover a little bit longer, his sacks will go up also.

Having an injured JPP on the other side of the rush allows teams to focus a bit more on his side than last year, which hurts his pure sack production as well. Dudes still ballin out though

You mean sacks, forced fumbles, fumble recoveries, tackles and TFL? The group of 4 to be in the top 5 of significant pass rush stats

Forcing turnovers on back to back drives and most importantly, getting 2 TDs on both.

Donavan Smith played an amazing game! Especially on that last tuddie from Lenny.

M. Denz

😎😎 hard fought game against a red hot colts team that was 6-2 over the last 8.
Big time win

James Bond

November 3rd, 2002. Bucs 38, Vikings 24. Michael Pittman SR, Antoine Winfield SR, and Ronde Barber.

    Steve Austin

I didn’t even realize that. Probably because Winfield Sr was on the Vikings.

Ramon Pilgrim

How about the blocking from Godwin on Lennys last TD. Pushed that guy back so far before Lenny plowed through him for another 5 yards

    Maurice Munoz

    Priceless, absolutely priceless!!!

    E H

Godwin’s block was also what helped Gronk get that first down on 3rd and 8 which was critical.

    Ramon Pilgrim

@E H true. I saw him and Scotty putting in work on that play

    Brennan Rivera

Yeah, seeing a receiver block so well was great😃

    InTheNameOfLiberty

    And the Gronk !!

Swiftergaming

I remember watching this game and I was nervous the whole time. Most fun I’ve had watching the Bucs since the Cowboys game.

    J Word

Same!!!! I think I felt every emotion in my body that game

Lounge Mane

Thank you Ronde 💪 great analysis per usual.

Matty B Trap God

The fact that Ronde can say he “only” got one Sack + Fumble + Recovery in his career as a CORNER is why he needs to be in the Hall.

    Paul Cowart

I wish he was our DB coach That could happen

E H

Godwin also blocked like a beast all game. He had a block on 3rd and 8 that helped Gronk get the first down, just one of many examples.

    Relayer6a

Big plays are often because of WRs blocking down field. Too many receivers turn into spectators when the ball isn’t in their hands.

tiotito31

Great analysis on Donovan Smith on that last play. I didn’t even realize he was so downfield freeing up space in a place fans aren’t even looking for

InTheNameOfLiberty

The reliable universal Gronk blocking, distracting and All his catches and plow runs, Helped incredibly !

ted Davis

Props to Mike Edwards. He forced the first takeaway for the Bucs which led to a touchdown and he made the saving tackle on the late kick return that would have tied the score.

Ken Brown

Ronde, I love your film breakdowns. Thanks for sharing your talent even after your on field stellar career!

Randy Daigneau

I look forward this breakdown every week. I just wish they were longer 🙂

Thanks Ronde!

Adam Beasley

Always a pleasure listening to your film sessions Ronde! More happy ones to come!

Jared Squires

Great analysis, as always. At the risk of being repetitive, Film Session is an absolute must for any serious football fan. Ronde Barber is a fantastic teacher. We just need it expanded a few more plays every week!

tyler bell
