Toughest situation for a rookie.
This is a huge test of character. If he can help turn the team around next year it will be just that much more impressive. I think the Cowboys were a dumpster fire when Troy Aikman got there and he helped turn them into a championship team. Pats fan by the way. Got nothing against Jags. Wish you well when not playing us.

He started out really promising but has ofc regressed. How could you not? Toxic culture from the coaching staff down. Leaks. Drama. Firings. This is a sick organization that was bad last year but has imploded even more. It’s not this guys fault but frankly I think he should leave and spare his career.
Number one pick time
Both Wilson and Lawrence have been through hell this season. Literally the two worst organizations in football having to overcome their own ineptitude is no easy thing. Both QBs have what it takes to be the future in the NFL, just hope they can find that rythm they showed in college.

Being a leader in a very tough environment is not easy! I’ve been there inheriting a billion dollar disaster and being told to fix it now. Watching how Trevor handled himself throughout the season shows me that he has everything you could ask for from one individual. The Jags need an innovative and strong coaching staff with some elite players. No offense to the existing players on the team, but where are the players that other teams fear on offense and defense? The good teams are loaded with these players and they elevate the other players on the team. I don’t see anyone like this on the Jags today. There is the need for a big re-tooling of talent. It’s going to take 2-3 more years of great drafting and free agency pickups before this can have a chance to come together. Trevor has soon that he has the right mentality to provide leadership and patience during this period of growth. DO NOT BRING IN OLD SCHOOL coaching that failed in previous attempts hoping for a different outcome.

@ethan I’m not a jags fan but is his issues reading defenses I hear he’s having trouble one thing I see with Zack wilson he’s reading defenses as the season is going on
