I think Frank is one of the top 10 coaches in the league. I’ve been critical of him at times… He’s not Tony Dungy but he’s the best coach we’ve had since then outside of BA
@T S Agreed. But I would say he calls a lot more good or even very creative plays, than he does “head scratchers”.
If you ignore his good play calls, including challenges and timeout decisions, he’s going to seem inept.
So far, he hasn’t done anything close to Pagano’s fake punt, Carroll’s intercepted pass in the SB (instead of handing it off to Lynch or Belichick’s 4th and 2. attempt.
We are averaging 27 points a game for the year. How does anyone think that is bad. The problem has been on the Defensive side. Allowing teams to score late in games. When you play a zone defense everyone has to work together or it doesn’t work. Ultimately everything should and does fall on the head coach. But the offense play calling is not the problem.
He can be he’s a very smart man and knows football better than most coaches probably in the last 5 or so years but he’s stubborn and gambles way to much I love the aggression some times but other times it just stupid
Currently has the 12th highest winning percentage of active head coaches. That season Luck retired really hurt him there or he would be too 10.
