Jonathan Taylor’s best plays from 172-yard game | Week 9 vs. Jets – FANTASY FOOTBALL FAN SITE
Jay Lewis

He will be the Rushing leader this season

    Isaac Perozo

@Nutty and I don’t know if you watch the games , but he could easily get 10 more points if they feed him in the end zone instead of letting Wentz Throw

    Isaac Perozo

@NFL Prodigy kills me every time they never learned from the Seahawks

    Nutty

@Isaac Perozo oh yeah I watch the games of my players. Thing is Taylor is best off the tackles. I was yelling at my TV when the Colts were at the Goal to go trying to get Taylor between the guards. He’s best going off the tackles or an outside toss/screen where his speed burst becomes unstoppable. They would have got him into the endzone had they called something outside the tackles.

    Nutty

@NFL Prodigy yessir I’m already up 34-0! Loving life haha

He’s so good man

Bryson_Is_A_Luden

On the big touchdown, he BLEW past that safety. Ridiculous.

Muh G

That acceleration dosen’t even look real. He had 10 yards on that safety in the blink of an eye

    Justin O

I can’t stop going back and watching it. That’s how impressive it was. Blows me away how fast he came out of the hole and blew past the safety.

    4uFriday

He’s a Sprinter man. He ran track in College and probably high school too and it shows

Remy Lucai

You got the Juice now.

We have to start talking about him being the best in the league. Henry is amazing but he had 98 more rushing attempts than taylor before he got hurt and only 250 more yards to show for it. Taylor is proving to be the best in the league. For sure top 2 no doubt.

    Mr Orange

@Top Shot Kyy and talking about Taylor already better than Henry? Hahahaha, Henry had over 2k rushing yards last year, was on pace for over 2k again with like 20 tds….. get back to me when JT has over 2k

    Nsdxe

@Mr Orange bruh m8 Taylor was in his rookie year that year and this year he is well on pace for more yards in less Carrie’s than Henry, your point is mute

    Mr Orange

@Nsdxe taylors no where close to 2k rushing yards for the year

    Mr Orange

@Nsdxe he gets less carries, thats honestly a good thing, RBs almost always die when they get 20+ carries a game. If Taylor finishes this year at like 1600 rushing and 500 rec, I would say hes in the convo next year as the best. Giving a RB too many carries is a waste imo…. I think Taylor is awesome again

    Mason Rieber

@Mr Orange the problem with this logic is that Henry DOES get all the carries. JT is MUCH more efficient than Henry meaning if they didnt also have an great RB in Hines that took reps and JT put up same amount of reps as Henry he would not only blow past his stats but also the 2k mark. Its like when i tell people the colts always shut down Henry and they say “but he had 100 rushing yds”. 100 yds is easy for a mediocre RB when they are getting 30 carries a game. JT most carries was against the Jets at 19 this season and apart from 2 anomalous games Henry got 28 + carries a game. Henry literally thrives on being “okay” the first 3 quarters and then destroying gassed defenses with his endurance. He average 4 YPC and like under 2.5 when he played the colts…. 4 isn’t even good in the NFL let alone 2.5.

Henry is definitely good and excels in two groups; endurance and the stiff arm to create extra yards. We cant really tell on JT endurance as he hasn’t needed to or been forced to attempt 30+ carries a game but he also wouldn’t need as much as he is tearing opponents up from the start of Q1 where Henry excels on opponents as they get tired. Even if JT falls off after 20 carries he would STILL average prolly 3 – 3.5yds (keep in mind statistically he would be getting almost 6 which is 100% more than this estimate) putting him at a 2k season THIS YEAR. and thats assuming he FALLS OFF after 20 carries. If he statistically kept up his performance youre talking about a 2.2 – 2.3k rushing season and 600 or 700 receiving yards. These numbers based on the old 16 game season. Pushing 2.5k if you add in the extra game.

Villa_805

He’s such an efficient runner it’s crazy, averaging damn near 6ypc that’s insane

    Freedom County

GO TO A NUHRSE, OR GO TO THE RIVVA, OR GO TO THE PAK AND BRING SOME A GOOD A GABAGOOL AND FUHGEDDABOUDIT!!! GO JETS!!! JAWL HURR? COMING FOR YA AFC EAST!!! COMIN FOR YA = 42ND AND MAIN – TONYS PIZZA!!!

Andrew Stalnaker

This draft class has turned into another gem. Traded the first rounder for an all pro in Buckner, drafted 2 potential pro bowlers in Pittman and Blackmon, and Taylor will likely be an all pro back.

    Th_iii _nk

this team is going be good for years to come. Wentz needs to be smart with the ball.

    big boi

@Th_iii _nk i don’t think their qbs of the future is on the roster rn i’d love to see them get desmond ridder from cincinnati at some point

    Eli Samuel

    Imagine we draft Arch Manning

Jiffykid

Running backs at 230 should not be that fast 😂 dude was running the 100m dash on that long one and he even finished with the duck

Jaywavy777

So who else had him in fantasy 😁

    Jaywavy777

Hell yea stacked with Pittman sheesh combined for 67 in my league

    Seneca Music

    Jets defense apparently.

dansbigfanguitarist

One of the most impressive parts about that 78 yard TD run is that he took a massive hit to his right knee 1 quarter and halftime before that massive run…. A hit that would’ve put 90% of running backs at least out for the game, but this dude is just built different… basically, he’s a Frank Gore who can run as fast as Henry, incredible

    honda phan

I saw him play several times during his high school career at Salem High. He was an absolute beast in high school and it didn’t even seem fair as he was going against Group 1 (small school) competition. Salem High is also where Penn State and NFL great Lydell Mitchell played as did WVU standout RB AB Brown who played on the ’88 team which played Notre Dame for the natiional championship.

    honda phan

Jonathon was also the state sprint champion his sr year. He’s just crazy talented but also humble an all-around great young man.

    dansbigfanguitarist

@honda phan gonna have a great career for sure… ridiculous he fell to the second round, just like Henry…

    honda phan

@dansbigfanguitarist I never understood his three star ranking coming out of high school either. I’m pretty sure he wasn’t given four stars due to doubts about him playing against small school competition. To my eyes, it was clear he would’ve been an absolute beast at any level of high school competition as he was the total package. As great as he was in high school his Salem team didn’t win the South Jersey Group 1 championship his senior year. They were ahead by 13 points against Paulsboro at one point but they ended up losing by a couple of points. I was there along with at least 4000(might’ve been closer to 5000) fans as we witnessed a classic at Rowan University.

Top Shot Kyy

Never forget Chiefs took CEH over Taylor.

jayceneeds skin

Watched him and loved him as a Badger!! Awesome as a person and a player!!!

PC Tech and Gaming

Best Running Back in the league! If only he got 30 rushes per game like Derrick Henry…

    Matt Webster

Doesn’t need too lol when he gets 100 plus yards on 10-20 carries a game that’s efficiency!! At Wisconsin they had a saying that JT is bringing running “back” and they meant it! 🔥🔥

Samuel Stahl

This guy is extremely underrated. Sports networks never even mention the guy

Erick Francis

34 points in fantasy this week

Ricco Baffa

He looks like a created player in real life. Run in a straight line for 80 yard TDs like it’s no biggie. 🤣

Elijah

Every time he touches the ball I expect big things to happen. 🔥

narrickcuz

With Derrick Henry out I’m willing to argue with anybody he’s the best RB in the league. At least top 3. As long as the Colts feature him CONSISTENTLY there’s no reason why we don’t make the playoffs

Fire Man

I’m so glad I have him for my fantasy team
