    Bruh Austin Ekeler got snubbed

    Dylan Dushack

    Thank you guys for this!

    Ant Royal

Much love and im Happy for my boy Herbert. But we want the Lombardi trophy so we won’t be going to no Pro Bowl this season. Peace an love #BOLTUP

    Ceez B

Hey Chargers media, tell Justin his fans are proud of him… and tell Staley/Lombardi to keep advising Herbert to slide when he runs up the field. When he slides we minimize all risk of an injury, smart move sliding. No sense in trying to play hero ball and then lose our best asset.

Look at Herbert man, so inspirational.

James Forcum

As an Oregon fan you’re welcome for this beast. Protect him at all costs.

    kyler kafoury

@Terrence he doesnt belong to anybody. As hard as it is to believe, he is a human being after all.

    Dominique Patterson

We could also thank the dolphins for passin up on him.

    Isles44

@kyler kafoury Thanks for explaining that to us. We were completely oblivious until you enlightened us with your wisdom.

    Isles44

Certainly hope they do. The Chargers were able to rebuild their o line this year. Hopefully they do more in the off season

Doctor Donut

What a humble beast!

I’m wondering about the influence Pep Hamilton and OC Steichen did last year. They helped Herbert be a really good pro in his first year. Also the influence this year of backup QB Chase Daniel

    Terrence

Steichen offense opened up the deep routes for Herbie; but he couldn’t read defenses quite well. This year’s OC was more short passes which don’t suit Herbie’s arm strength early on the season. Next year he’s gonna blow up. Watch.

    willy t

all my homies love pep hamilton

    Sam W.

@Terrence Last year’s offense: Run heavy minded style, thus causing a lot of stacked boxes with a safety playing down.
This year: Pass heavy minded offense, thus more deep safeties. Herbert’s not gonna be looking deep a lot causing possible mistakes. Kid is smart with the ball.

    theBakersMan

Pep Hamilton a QB guru, Herb on record giving him a lot of credit. Also, Pep in Houston right now, which I bet is a big reason David Mills is looking better than Trevor Lawrence right now

JamesRichard

All deserved but Austin Ekeler being left out is a crime. He is first alternate though.

Rupan Sambasivam

I wish Rivers would say something on Herbie

Marcus Torigian

Grateful to be able to enjoy Justin Herbert these past two seasons; and for hopefully many seasons to come. Just a pleasure and an honor to watch and root for.

Gerald Johnson

This guy’s humility is so refreshing! Go Justin.

    Adam Miller

It really is. Just so honest. ⚡️’s

Herb deserves this more than anyone else

Pacific Beatz

AFC’s QB1 in his 2nd year. Feels good to be a Charger fan right now. 😎

    clownin dan

The league should be scared because he hasn’t even reached his full potential yet. His ceiling is astronomical

    Ceez B

And to think Anthony Lynn tried to sabotage his 1st year… “he’s a backup for a reason.”

    James jones

@Ceez B He didn’t, the plan when he was drafted was to let him sit and learn, telesco even said that after he was drafted. Lynn was instramenal in drafting herbert, he always thought highly of herbert plus tyrod had just gotten hurt, you can’t just name Herbert the starter after the team doctor injured him. Lynn made mistakes but he always protected his players the best way he could.

    Dr Stupid

I was proud rooting for Dan Fouts ….I was proud pulling for Junior Seau …..I loved Marty Ball and LT ……….I was a big proud Chargers fan pulling for Rivers , Gates , Weddle ………Heck , ive always admitted to being a Chargers fan ………Now im rooting for Bosa , James , Herbert and Allen …….Bolt tha @$!K UP !!!!! ⚡⚡⚡

BAL GB

Well Done to Justin Herbert and well deserved! Now concentrate on getting us to the playoffs!

    Anthony Long

The Defense needs to keep stepping up to get there….That and the WR’s need to stop dropping passes! It kills me!

Todd Bickling

“Herbert is a backup for a reason” Anthony Lynn

    Marco Guajardo

Get over it, Lynn meant he was learning the system still and was still developing him to reach his potential. Even Keenan Allen said Herbert had no idea what he was doing the first handful of games. Their priority was to make sure Herbert wasn’t thrown into the fire unprepared and regressed under the pressure. Did he prove every one wrong? Of course, but Lynn wasn’t without his reasons, amd it wasn’t out of disrespect that he made that comment that reactionary drama queen fans continuously reference

    Chad Nevels

Did he really say that ?

    Bill Smith

@Marco Guajardo you are right. Lynn only wanted what was best for the kid. I just think he didn’t realize early how special he was and tried to keep a lid on him to protect him but it just backfired on him. The “My Quarterback” quote RE Tyrod just took it to a whole other level. No way Lynn was ever coming back from that, from the fans or mgt.

    Jordan Johnson

    @clownin dan Not crazy. /

ohroonoko

I was surprised to learn that Dan Fouts was the last Charger QB to start in a Pro Bowl. Had to look it up. Stan Humphries never went and Philip Rivers was always 2nd fiddle to Peyton, Brady and Mahomes for the last one.

    Dr Stupid

Plus Big Ben was always in the way .

Iisa Cruz

I am continuously impressed by Justin, he carries himself with class, humility and poise of a five year starting Pro Bowl QB instead of a 2nd year starter who has had a different offence to ingest throughout his college and pro career. Humble, intelligent, great work ethic, ultra talented, very athletic and with the desire to be the best to boot. There is no other QB past or present whom I would rather have leading the Chargers in the quest for the Lombardi trophy. Finally we will win it all in the near future!! GO BOLTS!

    Solo⁶𓅓

@Ceez B It’s clear that Herbert got the better head on his shoulders and is the last to leave the film room and practice

    Anthony Long

Not even a full 2 seasons either! The guy is what the NFL needs

    ProfessorBrown

    Yessss! Exactlyyyy

I love his personality! He is so cool. He’s not snobby, arrogant or it’s all about me. I love his attitude too!🏈⚡️❤️

Justin, As a Duck fan…please, don’t ever change. #humble #class #deservesallthepraise

I’ve been a Chargers fan for a long time and the only thing I have to say is that the Chargers organization found a Diamond in the rough. I never thought that we could have ever find someone as athletic, calm poised, respectful, smart, and never the less handsome quarterback kid that could be as noble and kind to the los Angeles community. I appreciate that. No disrespect Philip. But we were due!

John choy

I’ve never enjoyed football more following Herbie & the Chargers! Go Bolts!

D Naka

This kid lives in reality….refreshing. His gratitude and humility is powerful.
