The lighting bolt with the numbers on the helmet was on the LA Chargers 1960 helmet and the horse shield logo was the primary logo in 1960 as well
But the horse shield logo should be the primary logo and on the helmets as well.

Al Davis was part of the Los Angeles Chargers coaching staff 1960 birth season through 1962.
Al Davis then left the Chargers coaching staff in 1962 to become the manager of the Oakland Raiders in 1963.
Al Davis obviously copied the the 1960 L.A.Chargers original shield logo and added it to the Oakland Raiders pirate logo in 1963 because coincidentally the original 1960-1962 Oakland born Raiders pirate team logo didn’t have the shield logo in their original birth year of 1960–1962
until Al Davis joined the Oakland Raiders in 1963 then added the shield logo to the pirate logo.
Raiders copy cat shield logo but the true Original L.A.born Shield logo is the Original Los Angeles Chargers battle horse shield logo.

Bout time they set up the deep passes. Looking better this week.
Screen Pass OC Joe finally allowed Herbie to take some shots down field. Look at the results in the first half. Feels like Staley & Herbie finally put their foot down and made Lombardi get more aggressive with the play-calling. Ekeler needs to stop with the costly fumbles/drops. Last week he let a pass bounce off his hands right to a CB and today he has 2 fumbles that led to 14 points. Ever since they all started praising him after the Steelers game, it looks like he’s letting all that get to his head. He needs to snap out of it, stay focused and play his role. Herbie is the true star of the offense; he’s gona be the next GOAT who leads the Bolts to the promised land

Extra pressure on Burrow by Nwosu and DLine also blitzing helped to slow down the Bengals offense.
And finally offense gets aggressive down the field letting Herbert use that cannon arm.

The Chargers were looking amazing and everyone was like they’re gonna get crushed by the hot Bengals. It’s not hard to beat up on the Steelers right now, so everyone expected the Bengals to serve the Bolts a 40.
