So am I. Will miss Matt but I’m excited to see Marcus in this offense and who they draft to bring some explosiveness.

I’m curious to see if they take advantage of his and CD’s flexability. It could make for some really interesting schemes if they decide to build around those two.

Marcus is a good add for Atlanta as long as the have a strong draft.

@Stephen Waugh that’s cool man but I get the feeling his going to be like Trey Lance. I was hoping the DE from Oregon would fall to us or maybe the Arkansas or LSU CB. We can get a top WR in Free Agency next season because after the Matt Ryan trade we will have over 100! million to spend in Free Agency. So load up on Defense this year and possibly get The Alabama QB next season.

I am rooting for him too but with this roster I feel bad for him. He is going to get hit so many times, especially since Terry and Arthur have yet to address the offensive line.

@Ali Even with the same line, he’ll get hit less than matt because he’s more mobile. Hit less in the pocket that is lol

@Jordon Yates Doesn’t matter how mobile he is. It can be Mike Vick behind our o-line and he is still going to get hit as much as Ryan.

I hope they put an o line around him with a run game

@CashFlow Sway The Oregon Ducks Heisman Campaign/Winner doesn’t receive enough attention, correct.
I have family that are rabid TN Titans fans that couldn’t understand that Marcus was being used the wrong way in the ‘Smash Mouth’ Running Game system.
He’s a ‘Spread Offense’, take off and Run once you’ve ‘Spread’ out the Defense kind of QB.
He excels at that type of Offense.
TN kept incorporating Offensive game plans that simply didn’t support his talents.
If the Run Game found them behind in the 4th Qtr, they would then lean on Marcus to Pass their way to victory. The opposition knew what they would do and would Defend accordingly.
Mariota needs more of an open Offense that doesn’t telegraph what ‘few’ plays a team might be considering.
Free the Man to be as multiple as he can be and he will take advantage of the opportunity. ✌☠🖤

Dude that’s exactly what I been saying. Take a step further and the smash mouth control the clock run game offense would expect mariota to convert on third and long if they got stopped or penalties without allowing him to get into a rhythm. Run, run, run (convert on third and 15 so we can continue running) without receivers or an O Line. I’ve followed almost every single game since his freshman debut at Oregon. I know what he’s capable of if used properly. He looked injury prone in Tennessee but he wasn’t at oregon. He sat at LV and healed. Dude is in best shape of his life; mentally and physically. I do hope he can stay that way. Historically Atlanta has never had a powerhouse in football so I wasn’t stoked he went there but I am happy he’s getting another shot and I believe he will make the most of it.

@SFC Bolted Duck I do remember those Run, Run, Holding, Run, 3rd & Long, now Pass Drives!
It was so very painful to watch as I had lived in Seattle for a decade during the years that Mariota was in Oregon and knew what he was capable of achieving.
I was very disappointed with how the Titans’ Coaching Carousel continued to use the Systems that handicapped his strengths.
It was absolutely infuriating at times and a waste of a very good talent.
He did heal up in LV- Had a much needed shoulder surgery that he had been putting off for quite some time as well.
Love that he and Derek Carr hit it off so well, also.
DC actually posts a hashtag to any Twitter Message he references Mariota.
