On passing plays Matt needs to take an extra 3-4 steps back to keep things in front of him like Brady. When the pressure comes usually on the left side he can step up in the pocket and see who’s open. I’m shocked the coaches haven’t tried this with Matt. It’s the same thing every game.
After reciting that stat line how on earth can you say “I know it’s not your fault” he’s clearly played a part in it. It’s time to move on (period). The Falcons and Ryan need to go their separate ways.
This falls on the offense. The O line was terrible in pass protection, the receivers aren’t good, and the play calling was questionable. What makes it frustrating was the defense played well enough to win the game and gave us 7 points. Hopefully this is like 2015 where the offense sucked under Kyle Shanahan and exploded in year 2.
He trying to do all he can with these receivers, but he can’t make something happen if that O-line keep getting pushed back in his face blocking his vision.
Then who’s fault for giving away the best receivers they had?

Some say Matt’s the problem, some say the o-line. Maybe for the benefit of the Falcons and Matt they go their separate ways. It’s not working. I don’t understand how Stafford, Wentz, Golf, Cousins and Rivers can leave but Matt stays there year after year. Can you imagine if the Ravens took the same approach with Flacco and never acquired Jackson? Even Brady played for more than one team. Even Montana and Young played for more than one team.
