Quite frankly i want to hear from the coaching staff…. we got our asses whooped point blank and there is not enough film to watch to explain why we lost this bad.
They were outplayed and outmatched. Pitts is good, but none of the other receivers are what you’d call good. Teams need at least 3 quality receivers with the way the league is. With Ridley out the Falcons have one. No run game. Defense is a joke, and it was only made apparent by Dallas who have an elite offense that has match-up problems. Dallas also getting beat down by the Broncos fired them up. Honestly, I feel whoever was next on their schedule after the Broncos it would have ended in a similar way.
Think abt it. It wasn’t rly coaching. Our cbs aren’t talented enough other than Terrell. They can’t handle any man on man. Our wrs are to small and can’t get separations and realistically are all second or third string wrs if they were on another team. Arthur is a more physical guy and our players aren’t physical. We need better players and better drafting.
I respect the fact that Grady takes pride in the way he plays and Ws n Ls ND when he walked about if there was a gap between the Falcons and other teams he resoundingly responds, “No”, and then it was followed up with “why do say that?” and the he directly said, Bc I said NO!”
I love that about Grady! He takes pride in what he does as pro and does NOT like is work, integrity and heart being questioned especially by a pencil pushing sports journalists

I like Grady Jarrett. He is one of the guys that play with heart on this team.
Softball secondary schemes never win championships. The play starts at the line, just like Grady Jarrett plays football (thanks Grady). The secondary’s job is to cause problems for the opponents offense and cause them to have a poor day on the field and scoreboard. The NFL allows the first 5 yards… whatever is legal, make it hard on them for 60 minutes. Every secondary player at the NFL level should know how and why the jam is important… including coaches. Work smart… outfox and outwork them.
