i like him but he gets injured too much. I wanna trade him but damn i’m conflicted he does quite a bit for the community
Give him less carries, he won’t be made of glass if we just utilize him less. He gets the ball half of the game ain’t no RB enduring that for a full season.
There are running backs that do, but I agree we should be using him in tandem with Chuba going forward. Something like 55/45 with CMC getting the larger share
agreed, we see how good Chuba and cmc are; excellent in the opening drive and first half, but they’re over reliance risks their performance and injury and needs them to get switched out between plays later on, which becomes too readible by the opposing teams

@PuMpZ team _ not that good of hands? He’s the best reciever on the team in regards to executing routes, beating man coverage and overall reliability. With DJ, Cmc at slot and somebody other than Robby to be a deep threat to the endzone…that’d be pretty dangerous.

Yes we overused him, but he also didn’t know his own limits and put himself at risk. I know he’s a competitor but you have to know as a pro athlete when to take yourself off the field, and when to play through it, so you miss a game or two and not a whole season. His response at 3:20 was total cap. He absolutely pushed himself too hard, though I know there was pressure from the team. He’s valuable as a trade option but too many health concerns. He said all season he was feeling good and ready to get back, and then he would immediately come out injured or go on IR.

They overuse him. CMC can’t carry the team alone. It’s not fair to him and his health. Love to see him trusting God. That’s amazing.
Love you cmc, we overuse you a ton but it’s for a reason because you’re the best dual threat RB in the nfl
Hot take….. but put him in the slot at receiver…. he’s an elite receiver and elite after the catch. Take away the pounding of running in between the tackles and then use him heavy if they make the playoffs

Christian is my other favorite. Your presence was missed on the field. You did an awesome job since you been with the Panthers. I hope they bring you back next year. Regardless where you go I will still be a huge fan. Panthers need to work on the OL. They need to bring some players back instead of giving them away.

He’s faster in the 40 than Edelman and has better cuts so he would kill it at wide receiver!😃
He’s already had a 1000 yard receiving season. And that was from the RB position. If he was a fulltime WR he might put up some big numbers.
i think if he turns into a wr/rb like deebo samuel he may find his niche, that way he can split up work with chuba to reduce injuries while increasing his availability

What Carolina SHOULD do is just get a between the numbers back (change of pace type back) for McCaffrey. Like Kamara. Kamara still does a ton of work in the receiving game and gets the red zone carries he’s not always running between the tackles. Take some of those carries away from cmc between the 20s. Maximize him in the receiving game and in the red zone
