Cam or Sam can’t show much behind this o line. It’s hard..
Im not impressed about sam’s performance, but he didn’t play that bad. Whenever cam or sam take the snap they are just imminently on the run. That O line wont show what sam or cam can do.
Idk how people expect a QB to work without a O line when he is getting pressure half the time
He looks like a deer in the headlights. I think Sunday’s game was a great comparison. The Saints Oline was similarly hurt. Hill, who is no NFL hall of fame QB, didn’t look like he was in his first game in the NFL. Sam did. We need to get past the idea that this kid is of the caliber to get us to the playoffs.
This kid has zero ability to read the defense pre-snap. Many of the sacks came off the blitz that was not picked up. Those calls fall on the QB, center, and coaches. Additionally he holds the ball way too long against the blitz. Just remember we gave up 3 draft picks for this guy when the Jets were going to release him. To add insult to injury Rhule was stupid enough to pick up his 5th year option without him playing a snap here at the tune of 18 million.
Even if he can read a defense….he can’t hesitate or call audibles without Rhule throwing him under the bus the way he has Teddy and Cam. That playbook stinks.
Incorrect. The blitz which caused the fumble was a missed block by the tight end and the running back. That’s not on Sam. No one on this team can block

Sam has absolutely no confidence. He can’t get any type of swagger bc we only have 1 good lineman. This is by far the worst o line we have ever had. Sam’s had it ruff ever since entering… He might be done… U can ruin a qbs career by playing them too early, putting the pressure on him before he’s ready or by not protecting

Even though Darnold hasn’t played great, you have to feel bad for him as he’s gotten his butt kicked the last 3 seasons with poor play calling and poor O Lines. Today was a perfect example. The Panthers scored on their first 2 possessions, Darnold is like 8-8 because they are mixing up the play calling, then they went into conservo ball mode, running every 1st and 2nd down it seemd and the Saints were stuffing it! 3rd and long, the Saints just tee’d off! Seems like his rookie season he was throwing the ball all over the place and showed some promise, then it was much tougher after that.
