This is his first start as a NFL OC. He’s career is based on college. However I enjoy seeing someone who speaks with confidence.
Need to put Brady Christianson at left tackle he’s not a guard.

I already like this cat. But regardless of personality, let’s see what happens on the field. I’m not saying this dude gotta show crazy brilliance his first outing, but we have 4 games to see some improvement and adjustment.
Can tell right off the bat I’d at the least rather play for him than Brady’s smug self. I get the impression he’d actually work with the players to work on what works best for them. Can’t run the same plays that aren’t working over and over again and blame it all on execution

I’m so glad to have Mr. Nixon on the team. I have faith he can turn this offense around and possibly help us fix the O line and get us to the playoffs. I know these are pretty high hopes but I just want the panthers to succeed. I’m already liking Nixon’s personality and passion. I honestly don’t think Brady ever cared if we won or not.
If his coaching is good as he sounds, the ship might not sink just yet 💙🖤

What I like about this is he talks about making adjustments as the game is played, that’s what make a good coach to make adjustments that what made Belichick a good Coach as the game changes he makes adjustments, I can remember when Coach Belichick was with the New York Gaints he was a Defensive genius, he knew how to structured defenses just for the occasion, I remember the Gaints playing Buffalo Bills in the Super Bowl ,the Bills had one of the greatest high power offenses in the NFL , but Coach Belichick orchestrated one of great defensive scheme to stop there offense, he in place of 4 down linemen he only used 2 down linemen that was quick and the rest was linebackers , safeties and corners, and that scheme work to perfection, Belichick is a very good defensive-minded person,he’s really great defensive strategist he from old school , that’s something we don’t see too much in today game anywhere, it’s like you have 2 game plans just in case the team you’re playing do something different like a passing team switch to running the ball more now you’re ready for it ,to change your strategy To adapt to what the doing because you are well prepared, ( that’s what you called an strategist not just someone just calling defensive plays , someone who thinks ahead and make changes, that what the Carolina Panthers needs people that knows how to strategize as the game goes on an changes thankyou

I’m very happy with this change. Everyone said Snow wasn’t NFL ready and he’s proven them wrong. I’m excited about Nixon. I loved his comments about keeping things simple so we can play fast. Watching the old Baylor tape I can see that. With Cam at QB I think this might work better than what we were doing before.
To add to that: He said, “I looked UP to Cam” when a reporter asked what he thought of Cam. Which from my interpretation says… this team seems to admire and embrace Cam. This COULD potentially bring this team together, which is what they need. Getting rid of Joe Brady I think will/could help. One could sense from Nixon’s interview that Brady was trying too hard to “re-invent the wheel”. lol
