Imagine if we would’ve kept him, the $ we spent and draft pics could’ve strengthened our o line and other needs.
I read that he wanted a 5 yr contract and they were willing to do only 2 and that’s where the conflict happened and resulted in him being released….no team was gonna give him 5 yrs with the uncertainty of his injuries….he should have taken the 2….not positive if all that’s true just what I heard somewhere when all that went down

@Darius Rucker that’s just what I heard was the issue…maybe the 5 is wrong and may be a lower term….why else wouldn’t he accept the two yr offer if not for him wanting more? I think they were offering him $20 mil

PJ looked good today and should have been starting last week.We are all excited to have Cam but PJ knows the system, earned the right to start, and the tandem play worked well.Great having Cam back but lets see him eased back in, learn the system, physically and mentally get back into this.PJ seemed to have good timing with the receivers and made multiple reads. Good Game
I think we should start pj against washington and see how he does. have alot more packages for cam and run the ball having 2 qb’s confuses the defense alot.It’s a very good gameplan plus our defense is very good if we dont turn the ball over we have a chance to win any of these games coming up.

I think the mixing of the QB’s from play to play and the switching back and forth of the RB’s really took the Cards bye surprise and worked very well. Maybe this can work to our advantage down the road. Great job today. Proud to see the team and coaching staff step up and show everyone what keep pounding means.

Huge Panthers fan. But it feels like Matt Rhule is trying to ignore the 6’6″ elephant in the room. The energy was completely different with Cam. He deserves the game ball no question.

PJ and Cam sharing the backfield seems like a complex puzzle for the defense to figure out.
Honestly, let’s see how Cam does when he’s forced to throw the ball often and throw downfield. The dink and dunk, get the ball to CMac often works when you play from ahead like the Panthers did against the Cards and in the first 3 games of the season, but it can be different when you have to play catch up and the OL can’t stop a pass rush.
