Damn right. You can hide him for 4 weeks if you want to. The scrub can’t hide forever. Any chance offensive coordinator Joey Brady could join him? I’ve seen enough. Key defensive player won’t want to play with this offense. No freaking way our offensive scheme is this stagnant. Darnold is too erratic even on screen passes. Darnold after 3 games turn into the guy we let go. He has turned into check down Teddy. The problem is he’s not accurate. Go back further another year and he’s worse than Cam was even during Cam’s worst games. So we are 2 years behind and now we must eat this contract. Let him sit the season out. In fact if we are smart we’d let him sit next season out too. Trade for Watson after Joe Brady gets a head coaching job. Not before. Let Darnold be the highest paid back up. Then cut our loses.

People acting like Rhule is on the hot seat 1.5 seasons into a 7 year deal lmao. In just 1.5 seasons he brought an old bottom dweller defense to a very young one and one of the best in the NFL at that. In just 2 drafts he’s brought in what seems like so far 6 starter quality players and 2 long term quality back ups. That’s excellent by drafting standards. We still have half a rookie draft class full of unknowns but a ton of potential. Rebuilding an entire roster and fixing cap issues takes time guys. Not just 1 year. Everyone crying and whining about no Cam should go on and take notice. Not a single other team has tried to grab him. Now go back and cry in your room about it. Respectfully a Cam fan.
