Mack was becoming a top 10-15 RB until he tore his Achilles so it’s a win/win signing him. And for someone to say it’s David Johnson 2.0 is ridiculous lol. It’s nowhere near that. We gave up so much to get DJ while also paying him so much.. and for Mack we’re probably paying him 1-2 million and that’s it. Like that’s polar opposites. I know Caserio will draft one of the top RBs this year so it’ll be a good 1-2 punch and then have Burk pass catch here and there. Caserio is slowly but surely turning the team around. Crazy to have optimism a couple years after trading away the best WR in the league, not resigning our best defensive player in franchise history, and trading our franchise QB that we’ve waited 15 years to get, but I really do have legitimate optimism. I have a gut feeling that Caserio will turn this team around. Not to mention having like 100 million in cap space next year… by 2025 we’ll be a playoff team. LET’S GO TEXANS!!
I’m really excited to see what this team looks like this upcoming season. Kind of the same team but you bring in 11 more hungry players who knows what they can turn out to be. This team will be disciplined and very unpredictable.
