I believe that the 4-3 defense is the best defense in football.. why? Because when it comes time to rush the QB. with their 5 man front against your 4 man front, they can only double team just one player.. leaving 3 of your defensive players 1 on 1.. where as the 3-4 defense, they can double team 2 of the 3 defensive lineman leaving you with just 1 on 1.. and if they are winning that battle, you got nearly zero shot to sack their QB.. and understand this, the test of time for the 4-3 is, every top defense there ever was had some form of the 4-3 defense.. and you can go back and name all them defenses, because they all gave themselves names.. back to the Fearsome Foursome.. well, it was not a Fearsome Threesome right? or the No name defense, or the Steel Curtain, or the Purple People eaters, or the Bears defense.. which is a hybrid type defense, but it still had 4 down lineman, you simply placed them from the right to the left over their LT LG C and RG.. and then put a LB and S up on the line over the RT.. putting 8 men in the box making it hard to run on and that RT having to wonder if the LB is coming or the S is coming.. the BEARS Defense.. then there was the Orange Crush, and then Sacksonville.. all of these defenses were all 4-3 defenses.. and the best defenses were always 4-3 defenses.. and its a tried and true defense.. now the Tampa 2 is a base 4-3 defense, with the Mike covering the middle deep of the field.. so if you got a Mike Linebacker with some speed and able to cover.. it allows the CB’s to press and have the split safeties over the top on the outside.. any way, 4-3 is tops.. so glad the Texans have moved away from the 3-4..
the defense that stopped tom brady twice was 4-3, if you have 4 guys blitzing that are good it helps a lot. Giants could pressure brady with 4 guys and leave the rest to cover.

The only difference is that 34 is a disguise defense where you need lots of personnel packages and blitz concepts. 43 is the same 4 guys for about 85% of the snaps, which allows the back 7 to cover the pass.
Lovie has a little of that Bum Phillips Texas big sky attitude in him. I feel good about the Texans going forward with him and Nick.

It’s a fan of all 32 teams praying to god for there team so sad u think god his worried about that lol… like when Lamar Jackson was happy the chiefs kicker Miss the goal he said I was praying to god for. A miracle lol like the kicker wasn’t praying to god to make the goal lol etc
Him and Caserio have made me forget all about Easterby and Mccnair. They running the show now and great things are about to happen.
