I really feel bad for David Culley. He has got to be the hardest-working coach in the NFL right now. Dealing with the media everyday of the week and dealing with some critical fans that know nothing about football. This guy wants to win but they are holding him back because he has no control of what goes on with the team as of this point I’m convinced he’s a puppet.

    He’s been a puppet since day 1 lol . And no one is holding him back as far as the fans or media . If anything it’s the front office but either way he is the coach and he bears the responsibility with not being able to address several issues with this team including the penalties issues

    @Baltazar Pacheco why hire a man only to do what you tell him to do? This has got to be the most racist organization in NFL history. Just like the owner said years back RIP Bob McNair you can’t let the inmates run the prison. If he’s the head coach he’s supposed to be responsible for the structure of the team. The front office are responsible for bringing talent to the team and signing the contracts. I am so disgusted with this organization.

    The fact is that the team is bad.
    Detroit’s record is worse, but they have played well in a number of their games and could easily have three or more wins at this point. They tied the Steelers. The Lions lost by two points to the Bears, by three points to the Browns, by nine points to the Rams, by two points to the Vikings, by two points to the Ravens, and by eight points to the 49ers. My point is that the Lions have a better team than the Texans, but will like finish at the bottom of the heap.
    I think the Texans have performed as well as they can.

The late John McKay, the one time head coach of a losing Tampa Bay Buccaneers team, once was asked, “What about your team’s execution.” He jokingly replied, “I’m in favor of it.” LOL
I can easily see Coach Culley using that same answer at one of these pressers.
Coach Culley seems like a great guy. I like his enthusiasm. He is the anti-Bill O’Brien. Culley seems affable and positive.
With a group like the 2021 Texans, it is hard to access just how good a coach David Culley is.
He has taken much criticism for the play of a team that is short on talent.
But he accepted the job knowing that the team’s make up would be like this season. And he is being well paid for coaching the team.
