Dont draft a qb this draft. Just give Goff some weapons and defense and well see how he does. If he doesnt do well then draft a QB in the 2023 draft. Lions have so many needs and QB is not one of them at the moment

He actually was… his interceptions from week 1 up until he got injured was either game costly or momentum changers & this roster doesn’t have the pure talent to get over costly mistakes done by our QB. This team could easily been a 7-9 win team the way they fought for this coaching staff if Jared goff didn’t turn over the ball.

@barcode0954 I disagree that he’s the sole reason we lost games. As much as u can love DC he has his issues and he cost us some games with some of his decisions. Goff played a part of the losses but their were a lot more issues that fall on the team as a whole
Jared’s the man. I love to see all the the love Lions fans are showing him (most of them anyways)

Truth is you have Jared Goff in 2022 and can’t move on. He was one of the best QBs in the last 6 weeks of the season. Let’s see how he does this season with better chemistry and more complete team around him this year. Let’s hope everything pans out. If not…you can draft or trade for a QB next offseason.

He may not be the flashiest QB but I really think Goff is only going to get better with more experience on this team.

I mean… he did only play in 14 games, averaging a passer rating of 109 in the last 5 games he played (3rd best in the NFL during that span)

Call me crazy but I’m high on Jared Goff. I think that the trade between him and Stafford was honestly the best thing that could’ve happened to both their careers. While it must have stung to get unceremoniously traded like that, and been a huge blow to his confidence, I think the great thing about the lions is that there are no expectations and no pressure. It’s a blank slate and Goff can just focus on playing the best football he can. He will get better, just wait.
