@Matthew His playcalling hasn’t been as terrible as people are making it seem. The calls between him and Lynn are not that different and Going for it on 4th in our own territory puts them in a position where they don’t have all the time in the world to milk the clock on a drive if we don’t get it, and also hugely increases our chance at winning if we do get it. I’d have preferred a run bc we’re one of the better inside zone teams in the league this year statistically but I understand calling play action. We need a new signal caller next year but Campbell has not been awful

She reminds me more of how the Ilitch family was part of the team chemistry with the Red Wings and Tigers.
The Ford family just never understood that link to the fans and community and tended to treat the Lions like a dusty old heirloom.
They tended to live in the past and did not adapt well to the modern NFL.
Shelia seems capable, and I hope the winning trend continues.

@O. .O Sheila isn’t Martha, it’s a new owner, new GM, new HC, new QB, completely new everything. If it was all new with Martha at the helm, I’d still think it’s the same old lions with a new face in the front office. But it seems that the entire organization is different with Sheila. I’m not saying she’ll be great but she actually cares and that’s a whole lot better than what we had before

That’s a good way to look at it man
It’s hard to believe, but this owner is different, this management is different, this coach is different, and this team is different. Maybe the suits that run the show know a thing or football or maybe they don’t, but they hired Lions legends as advisors to get the proper management and the proper coaches. Most successful rebuilds in sports show you things to look forward to in losses, and give you the thrill of the win you want so badly. I’m sure the majority of Lions fans don’t believe, and I think given the Lions history, the organization needs to earn the faith of the fans back, but I’m excited about this rebuild. I feel like they really care.

I don’t believe it’s either. I believe if Cook had been able to play, the Lions would have been toast. That was the difference in the game.

That was the coolest locker room celebration I’ve ever seen. The Lions and their fans deserve this win. The players love playing for coach Campbell. Hopefully, this is the beginning of something special moving forward.🏈💯🌈
As a Packers fan i fkn love how the coach, the stuff and the players are fighting for the win. They need some good Draft next season and they need a bit of time but i think The lions are playing good in Future. The fact that he’s been able to keep this locker room together is really special. And I don’t believe many coaches could do that. Most 0-10-1 teams would just roll over and die lol they are still inspired and play hard. I don’t understand any Campbell hate. Sure he makes questionable decisions at times. But he’s still learning and you can tell players love him. Which is very important to a change in culture
I love him but he is a very easy to poke fun of lol. I really hope he does well in the next couple of years. He’s just seems like such a good dude.
As a long time Lions fan, that celebration just brought tears to my eyes seeing how there so much love and respect and admiration for each other , from the owner, to coach Dan to the GM and the players. That was just fricken awesome to see. It reminded of the ‘Remember the Titans’ movie except this wasn’t a movie this was real and live. I’m thinking, if I am an NFL player playing for another team, how can you not want to be a part of a culture that the Lions have. Hats off to DC for bringing in the right culture and attitude. Just fricken awesome!!
