Stop with that. This guy has done nothing!!!!! That is even a 70 % improvement. All we know right now is that we have a second round pick that can’t catch. A first round pick that is so FN fat he can’t take the field. A first that was sold and a 2nd who he let walk. There is nothing to trust here.

@Tom Rosenthal worst coaches of all time? Thats a stretch, look at what the players did without him, Robby anderson was top of the league in drops, you had sam darnold, Crowder had like 200 less yards and 4 less touchdowns. Berrios only had 40 more yards and he played way more than in 2020. Herndon is out of the league, Mims/Perine were non factors this season even when everyone said Gase was holding them back (had better seasons in 2020) Went to the playoffs/ Had a winning record with Tannehil (Tannehil was injured more games than he played) For the jets wins in 2021 you had the mike white game, and the win against the titans (great win) and then wins vs 2 of the worst teams in the leaque with 3/4 wins. And had 1 more game so another chance to get a win. With 2020 they didn’t get to play any of the worst teams, the worst teams they got to play was the Broncos with 5 wins and the injured 49ers with 6(when they played they were healthy for majority of the game) So call him a bad coach if you want, but the worst coach of all time is just uneducated and not remembering how bad some other coaches were
Zak Wilson was a terrible pick and hiring a rookie CS was not a good idea either, the Jets better win some games this year or he is gone even though he has good pedigree.
Based on what are you making that assessment? Jets have sucked under his leadership as well.

I love this guy. Record might not show how smart he is. So far nothing has rubbed me the wrong way. But if he passes on jermaine Johnson and jermaine gets double digit sacks his rookie year.. and wrecks havoc against us in Denver or as I suspect, in Seattle.. I’ll prob start getting sour on Joe
then that means we’re taking sauce at 4 and jj at 10?
@Bumpy Devoshire unfortunately, have a feeling that jermaine johnson won’t be available at 10 .. could be a surprise top 5 pick, but certainly see him being taken before 10 .. if he is available at that spot he should be a lock for the jets to select him, regardless of who the pick is at 4

@Bumpy Devoshire i hear and understand you .. but also keep in mind lawson is recovering from a torn achilles and being as though the jets are in the same division as the bills and dolphins who have explosive playmakers in their passing attack, having multiple edge rushers to get after the QB wouldn’t be the worst thing .. though in all honesty, to address what you mentioned .. i’d strongly consider taking johnson over thibodeaux tbh .. but thats just me

I love you, Joe. I hope our fellow Jets fans can have patience to see your plan through. Rebuilding a bad team takes time and despite a few misses in the draft, you’ve hit home runs on trades, don’t overpay for players, and plenty of more moves that I love that I don’t need to get overly into. I trust in you. Keep building this thing. Jets fans, stay patient. We haven’t had a GM fleece other teams in trades like this, and not overspend on crap talent, and (assuming Benton can stay healthy) rebuilt the offensive line, so much more. Stay patient. We’re finally building this thing right. J-E-T-S
I think any smart person will see what he has done already.. he basically nailed all his draft picks.. even in the later rounds… very good at picking young talent and then everything else he has done and hes just very well respected and hes changing the franchise the right way and for long term success and its very clear to see!!!
@Carmine_ I agree with you, Carmine, except he definitely had plenty of misses in the first draft. I won’t hold it against him as he had a different coaching staff in place, but it’s important to be unbiased. Last draft with out new staff though, oh man. We just gotta make sure Zach is surrounded with weapons so he can succeed. It’s clear to see in my eyes as well, yet some how the media still loves sh*tting on the Jets and speculating about Joe being on the hot seat… He’s had two drafts, Maccagnan had five? What are we doing if we want him fired after 2/3 drafts? We’re on the same page, my friend. Let’s get this draft, baby!

Every fan should be able to see what he’s done ✊ he’s done great things and it’s time we are a playoff team.
Impatience leads to frustration. This was truly the 1st time the Jets organization is rebuilding the roster by using their draft assets obtained through very smart trades!
The Adams trade, getting a #2 for Darnold, a #4 for Herndon, he got a 6th for Blake Cashman! The 2 TEs we signed are in their PRIME & ascending (over 1000 yards combined last year). 2021 draft was one of our best in a long time. This draft is loaded with talent & we have 4 picks in the top 38. And we have our young QB who’s still just 22 years old.
If your still pessimistic than your just a glass half full type of fan. Judge him AFTER you at least let him use the assets he so skillfully accumulated for this 2022 draft!
