Great way to end the year!
Unfortunately……as a 50 year Dolphins fan…I saw too much quarreling over a very young….very talented….and very positive young man in Tua. He has a lot of talent. He certainly isn’t a prolific arm….but he showed heart…..he showed athleticism….and he kept his composure throughout. Sorry to those critical of his long pass ability…..it may in fact be his biggest flaw….but he’s a winner. He competes nicely…..he has good playmaking ability……his arm strength will never be as strong as Burrows or Herbert…..so be it. He won more games than most the last 2 years. I feel confident he will only get better.
@Marley Mayfield have fun with that thought cause Watson wanted to come to Miami and play for Flores no more Flores means no more Watson
@John Cummings Read my comment again, I never said that you said Tua wasn’t any good. I said that I respectfully disagree about his arm strength and I’m NOT a Dolphins fan either. Anyways, best wishes John
@Jack Taylor gotta say….as I’ve said to others the same….it absolutely amazes me how many people argue Tua has solid arm strength. I’ve watched 2 years of Dolphin games with him at QB now and I’ve seen less than one handful of throws that were applaudable down field……I don’t recall ever seeing him lead a receiver in stride with a pass over 30 yards…..I’m sure he has at some point but I can’t remember it and that’s a lot of pass attempts. And I’m a Tua fan……in most aspects…..other than his arm strength…..and his lack of height. (which he can’t do anything about).
The Flores interview surprised me because of when he said that the coaches need to try to do more for the players. Why do the coaches not say that they need to do more to help the players in every interview, especially when names of individual players are mentioned in conversation?
He looked like he knew he was getting fired
First time the dolphins have swept the Patriots in like 20 years. I think this team is better than what a lot of people are giving them credit for. If they were to win just one of those last second games we would be in the playoffs. Just think if we would have won those three games against the raiders the Jacksonville jaguars in the Atlanta falcons who will be sitting at 12 and 5 and probably a by week and the division. We have plenty of talent and I do blame those three loses on the coaching staff at the end of those games.
We did win in Las Vegas but the fucking referee didn’t throw the pass interference call.

The Dolphins will suck as long as Ross Owens this team. Can not believe ross fired Flores after 3 seasons. And keep Chris Grier on as GM. with Ross as the owner the Jets will make the the playoffs before this joke of a team does

Flo’s demeanor is a guy who was told before the game that he was going to get fired. I know he is always emotionless in his interviews.

Thank you Coach Flores for helping the Dolphins notice their potential. You helped us win this game in the best ways possible. BEAT THAT PATRIOTS! I look for you on the field every time the Dolphins play and will always admire you. You never ever deserved this. You will always be considered one of the most helpful coaches to the Dolphins in my opinion. Second, I think that you should still be head coach and our GM needs to be fired or learn from the expert (you). Thank you (again) for being such an amazing head coach and friend to the Dolphins.
