@Marley Mayfield on Sunday he completed a 50 yard throw to waddle with 4 seconds in the pocket . The only time he had more then 2 seconds to throw.
What a sorry excuse for coaching. Bad weather requires running game. Pats only threw 3 times against Bills. Tanny only threw 18 times. Our coaches go out and make Tua throw 38 times. They want Tua to fail
And Tennessee was letting us run while they focused on stopping the pass. Duke averaged 7 yards a carry and Gaskin averaged 4.6 yards per carry. Take what the defense gives you.
@kevincmiles4163 7 rushes for Duke and 5 for Gaskins. My point was that they were concentrating on the pass, and we kept trying them. Meanwhile, Foreman ran 26 times for 132 yards. Our coaches couldn’t adjust.
We act as if Tua is the only QB who has struggled with this. How much time has the O line given him all season to read and react? Throw in a wet ball, near freezing conditions and you not expect things to happen? I questioned the play calls. I mean, minimize the movement, handling of the ball. Pulling the ball out from the RB and brining your hand up to pass, while on the move, is tricky. Y’all reporters are relentless.

Tua has WAY too many people in his ear. He looked skittish and not confident and that’s on coaches and (bad) play calling. It got worse and worse as the game went on (Tua’s decision making).
Tua needs to see himself as a running QB (a la Russ Wilson). From what I have seen and heard the coaches are telling him NOT to do that. Hell, even Ben Roethlisberger knows how to do that. Hire Big Ben!
You want a QB that had a serious hip injury to become a running style QB? No! if the Dolphins need a running style QB, then they need to trade Tua and redraft a running QB in a future draft. Tua is a pure pocket passer and needs a strong line to keep a pocket secured to give extra time to allow deep plays to develop.
This Game against the Titans was a merciless beating and an absolute horrendous performance from Tua.
His alligator arm was in full display as he was throwing up prayers and keeping his defense on the field.
